Thank you for the video, I just order a Nakto Skylark bike can't wait to get it.
Does the motor make it hard to pedal when you try to ride it with the electrics turned off?
Good looking bike! Thanks for the review and tips
tnx
Hey do you know the folding width of the bike? Hoping it’s less than 18inches wide when folded
Thank you for the reviews. I'm trying to verify the minimum saddle height measured from the ground. I've read 20" and 29", that is a big spread. Thanks for the assist.
Thanks for the review and advice! I bought one and replaced the pedals also. Man, the price jumped about $100 and I hear the Costco one is still on sale. But anyways I’m happy with the Skylark and cruising around the neighborhood.
they have a costco version of this? I bought jetson bolt pro at costco. It half the price but its not as fast as this bike and it can't go as far.
I have two Skylarks. I have a black one and my wife has the white one. Both bikes have been great! I did add a couple felt cushions to the batteries on both bikes as they had a bit of a rattle, but other then that...they been great! Thanks for the review.
How fast do they go?
@@spaceman047 I'm a big guy at 6'3 and 250 lbs and the bike will haul me 15mph on the flat. My wife is small and less then half my weight and she can probably do somewhere near 20mph on the flat.
Best review for this bike ,... just order mine today Saturday - monday by monday be here🙏🏽👏🏽
Thanks
Hobby Pursuit just love it i habe two weeks with my skylark and i love the pedal assist
I have the orange one, I don’t think I’ve ever peddled besides giving it a try to test it out lol but not a bad bike, sometimes I wish it could go a little faster though 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks for your videos on the Skylark. I will probably buy this bike when I can get outside due to your review. I’m 72 and looking for simplicity and this bike fits that criteria. Gears always need to be adjusted and shocks need to be replaced. It’s light and I can easily put it in the back of my wife’s car. I would like to know if the throttle is variable or is it wide open when partially initiated???
Yes. The throttle is variable. I can definitely have the slowest speed on a small turn.
Could I use it in the rain?
Just a PSA: 9 mins in and the review still hasn't started. Come on man! Edit!
point taken. i will improve on future vids/reviews. Tnx
How fast does it go
Can this bike last 5kmiles with no problems
Thank you for the video, I just bought one just like yours, but I cannot fold it, do you think something is wrong? You make it look so easy to fold, I followed your instructions but it continues attached it does not fold.
you might have to apply greater force. for small women it's not easy to fold. i have the same problem
So I've had my bike probably about a month now. I've only charged it once. But what I did notice is that when you use the throttle that's when the true battery level is shown? If I ride it to the store and it say when I'm using the throttle it is at the halfway mark for the battery usually when I go in the store and come back out it's back up to the full meter at least for a limited time. Now that my battery has been used quite a bit since I've charged it it remains half full when I turn it on and then when I use the throttle it goes down to low. I wish that the battery level was more straightforward and direct instead of making me question. I assume that what it shows when the throttle is not being used is the actual battery power. So I think that when it drops down to low then when I use the throttle it probably will not light up at all. Signifying that it's on low battery for good. When it's all lit up and then I use the throttle the two bottom lights will be lit. Or maybe when I use the throttle it's telling me how much battery power is left in that particular mode? Do you have any further understanding of why this is and what exactly it means?
Unfortunately, these are the nature of batteries. it will not be a 100% charged when you use it a bunch of times. Mine does the same and it is normal ( same with my other electronic gadgets). The simple battery display doesn't help either since it is too simplistic. I suggest you do a stress test and see what ( or how much) your battery is capable of. Also, you can mentally record your daily use and gauge where your battery performance and see how much it declines thru use and time. Good luck!
Great begin
I Could not get to the top part of the stem to go down I just screw the bolt in ill have to leave the stem up
horror780 - I had trouble with that too, but I finally got it to work. I have problems with the seat staying at the right angle. But otherwise, I’m pretty happy with it.
I got the same bike I would like to take it to work about three mile ride
What's the red button for?
Is this good for making delivery’s ?
It should be if your deliveries are short and with in 5 miles ( its a good city/urban ebike). But remember the wheels are small so dont expect to have fast deliveries if time is a factor.
10:35 ✅
What is the red button under the power meter??
pedal assist mode
Does the battery come off the bike
yes
Hello! How heavy is the skylark? Is it easy to fold up and transport to put in your trunk? I'm only 4'11 and weigh 103 lbs. Also, how good is it when getting up hills? Does it ride like a champ without breaking a sweat?
Yeah the bike is fast study and can go up hills with no problem I'm 217 and had my backpack on 10 pounds and had no problems it is a little heavier than the other ones of that size but it's a really good EBIKE!!!
Hello. Im 230 and it conquers the hill like butter. It is on the heavy side though ( in w/c all ebikes do). it weighs around 30 pounds. So far, this has been a good afor5dable ride for me. Good luck!
Yes!!!! With your weight it will be extra easy.
I'd have to pay $800 right now to buy one and have it shipped to me in Hawaii.
Hey bro where is your paintball footage? i wanted to repost Canadian Carnage...
I dont know what to put the key on and get it to go
What do you mean? Are you able to insert it and lock it at least?
Another tip put water seal gel on those two open holes where to wires go in at the bottom.
I really wanted to like this bike, but after a few rides I noticed that the front disc brake was misaligned and causing a terrible squeaking noise. It's near impossible to fix due to the casing around the break and the glued on bolts to the tire. Really disappointed.
you might want to have it replaced by Nakto, it sounds like a defect on shipping. Sorry to hear that
The Skylark has a drum, also called an expansion brake on the front wheel and a disk brake on the back.
I have 2 of these. Love them. Need to make adjustments when you get them. Front brakes are indeed drum brakes. Pretty straightforward.
How fast is it ?
Just got mine. It's really fast and can hit 25-30 mph in seconds with pedal assist
Anyone know how fast this thing goes?
With full charge it can go 15mph and with PAS 18mph... depending on riders weight
Safety rules- Helmet, Eyewear, Closed Toe Shoes and Bicycle Gloves.
Smooth ride if tires are at 45-49 psp.
i have the macwheel 16" came to $450
How’s it been holding up after a month?
I just took it on my first road trip and it performed flawlessly
Hobby Pursuit I got mines from Upzy like 2 weeks ago and I love it
Chump Life I got mine from Upzy too! 555.00 total! Love Love Love!!
@@Boo-ou2lm same here upzy 555.00
How much does the bike weigh?
roughly 230 pounds
@@kylester925 that's half a motorcycles weight.
@@Jojoboogie its 45Ibs
Mine is 44 lbs, delivery box weight is 50lbs.
I own the Nakto Skylark, it’s Orange and Black. I love riding around town and bought a cart for it to do small shopping errands. Gets a lot of attention and always being asked questions about it in public.
I haven’t ran out of battery yet and I’ve gone a pretty good distance. I mostly pedal for good exercise. This is my review, oh and by the way the brakes will squeak some- it’s natural. Watch some Natko Skylark riding reviews- some will mention the sound the brakes make. If you have questions feel free to ask me.
Ebike pioneers get the cheap ebikes cheapest because they are the first.
People like me are late comers that depend on youtube reviewers and therefore I pay a premium. For tried an true machines. Cheers
I like a cheap bike with the anticipation that it's a target for thief . A cheap bike is my insurance that I will be able to replace it if it is stolen .
I ride a bike to stores and park it locked up but that only good to prevent opportunist thief or joy riders
R u mechanic?
Look up Skylark it's a bird 🐦
I have running at fast speed and I'm nearly half way through t video and so far no actual review. Gimmie a break.
Don’t buy it. I requested a refund literally 2 days after I got it b/c it wasn’t working and they continued to convince me to keep it, ultimately refusing my refund. Once again… DON’T BUY IT!!
Show the BIKE more and you less.
Yes sir!
You talk too much is not a review....
This was horrible
