The Lord our God is a jealous God, He is not willing to share your heart with multiple lovers, multiple lovers divides our hearts, we become one with those whom we have sex with. Your heart is deceitfully wicked and easily deceived. One earthly lover is all we can handle, this is for our protection so as to not turn our hearts from God. The reason adultery and fornication is wrong is because it shows our hearts are already turned from the Living God.
