Man, this brings back memories. I watched Supercar, Fireball XL-5 and Thunderbirds when I was a little boy. I thought they were IT!
The Colour is unbelievable! Usually the Process leaves the image looking flat and not at all convincing. These look like they were MADE IN COLOUR.
You are so right! I seen how they colorized Gilligan's Island, The 3 Stooges, Laurel & Hardy and others. Talk about flat pastel colors! 🤢
My GOODNESS the colour is STUNNING, if you had shown this to me without me having any prior knowledge of the two shows and said that they were filmed in colour initially, i’d believe you, it looks THAT GOOD
Was just going to say the same but you said it better!
Colorisation has really come on over the years. This is going to be good. Shame my father isn’t alive to see this. He loved these two shows.
This is truly Kodachrome Quality color. A fine job!
Takes me back into my childhood wonderful.
FIREBALL XL5 was always my favourite GA series. As a kid, I always imagined the crew and the THUNDERBIRDS' Tracy brothers working together!
and still a brilliant looking spacecraft even today
@@dandare6865 - Yes, and with that separating pod at the front, *Fireball Junior* , they predicted Jeff Bezos' *New Shepard* rocket! (PS. You have an epic username, by the way!)
Wow. Such beautiful vibrant colours. It looks as if they've always been that way. Great work!
Awesome! Love it!
How wonderful would it be for the whole of these series to be given the colour treatment.
It looks MOST SATISFACTORY!
This is how it looked to me when I watched “Super Car”at 6 years old. It seemed like it was in color it was so exciting to me.
Same here, it's amazing the tricks our memory can play on us!
Absolutely FABulous!
The clean prints with that spot-on SPECTRUM of colours are out of this world! A true labour of love for these cherished classics. Your father would be proud!
Happy days ..and memories.
Just 'completed' my Supercar jigsaw for the first time in 57 years!
The color quality is Awesome for both of these clips!
Seeing it in color makes the scenes pop!
When I was young and watching all these Anderson show I was glue to the tv and today I’m still love watching them
Back in 1965 my brother got a super car for Christmas. In 1962 I got a fire ball xl- 5 set for christmas.
I got one for my birthday and one for Christmas. Both are in December. When I got older my mother gave them away.
Great result i'd watch the whole series again like this
This is totally spooky, but in a good way - My favourite programme as a youngster, but on a 17" 405 line TV, it left quite a bit to the imagination, but seeing this, it looks as if it was made yesterday!
Most satisfactory 👍
They both look like they were shot in colour rather than being colourised - colourising techniques really have come a long way.
This is fantastic. What an unbelievable achievement. Please colourise 'Space Patrol' some day.
Transported right back to my childhood.....many thanks.
Would love to see Four feather falls colourized.
I would love to see a colourization release of Supercar and Fireball
XL5. I have the black and white and would pay for this again if it were
in colour! :)
Absolutely outstanding. Often shows shot for B&W don't translate with the same sense if entertainment but these are true improvements to the experience. Bravo. Well done!
I love the jump scare at the end. SPIDERS!
The colour could not have been any better and stunning prints.
Fabulous....this is seriously impressive. For some strange reason, I suddenly feel younger now that Fireball XL5 has some colour to it. Shame the same can't be said of my hair ;-)
I love the show to way back in the day but even as a child I wondered what happened to those stupid rocket gantry
Wow. Thanks for this piece of magic; I've always wondered what this show would look like in colour. Great work.
This is AMAZING. Don't get me wrong, I love black and white, but seeing the video on colour for the first time is amazing! Get these on a home release pronto!
Spiders!
I grew up with this stuff. It was the highlight of Saturday afternoon.
Fireball XL5 is a series I would love to see get a DVD or BluRay release with them in full colour!
I've never seen Supercar though.
I have other series Stingray, Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet.
This is amazing!! I wanted to be Mike Mercury when I was a child. I probably still do…
thanks! to stellarSuper colorisation of fireball xl5 & supercar of Gerry Anderson classic episodes i,m looking forward to purchasing
the color version of Supercar 60th Anniversary edition box set for my collection to enjoy watching it with my son.
thanks! Anderson Entertainment and have Fabulous holiday. Sincerely Yours: Harold Stewart USA.
could you finally purchase Supercar in color ?
DANG, these colorisations look fantastic! They look like they were actually shot in color!
S P I D E R S
To say this takes me back is a huge understatement, well done!👍
Yes STUNNING. My jaw dropped. Bravo!
Outstanding! I was a huge Supermarionation fan as a kid, from Four Feather Falls onward. My dad had a woodworking business in Slough, Buckinghamshire, and made a lot of the special tables that the sets for the various series were constructed and filmed on.
Great colorization. They look like original Technicolor shots.
Absolutely brilliant, I have seen some colourisation of Fireball XL5 on Blu Rey in HD but not Supercar. Breathes new life into the classics and I echo others in that it would be fantastic to colourise both series but doubt that will happen as cost would be prohibitive. Great to see what could be and maybe one day…….. Neil
I would love to see live version of SUPERCAR!!
I'm from Liverpool and just like the residents of Space City we use the term 'Boss' to say if something is good.
Thus I can say that this looks real Boss!
these clips are quite amazing! i wonder who colourised them? edit: i hope these two colourised episodes will have a blu ray release.
Find out on Thursday!
@@GerryAndersonTV Was Stingray the first Gerry Anderson series to be made in colour?, you would think these supercar and fireball XL5 were always made this way, a stunning achievement, my childhood is kept alive.
This is as near perfect as I have ever seen. Bravo!
omg it is fantastic in colour
Just incredible! I hope Network releases Supercar and Fireball XL5 in colourised form on Blu-ray in the near future!
Looks absolutely stunning !
These Network guys are brilliant 🤩 at what they do
Both shows look a hundred percent better
Great work!
Impressive. Most impressive!
THANK YOU For This !!
Great Scott! Exceptional colour. Well done!
Amazing rendition, so much fun to watch. Hope they do the whole series and offer for sale.
Remember watching these favs of mine mannnny moons ago
I have Supercar and Fireball XL5 on DVD. Professor Matic's voice is also Ebeneezer Twink in Four Feather Falls.
They look fantastic!
I've Didn't Know Gerry Anderson's Supercar And Fireball XL5 Was Magically In Colour. Thanks Mate. X
I bought the whole DVD set of supercar but it's all in black and white this is actually really good too bad somebody doesn't do this to the whole series
Oh this is amazing. Thank you so much.
Absolutely brilliant 👏
Absolutely loved Supercar- my introduction to the Gerry Anderson series. There's a photo of me aged around 5/6 holding a plastic model of Supercar. Great memories.
Ooh you are lucky to have got the car.All I got was a licence to drive /fly it - when I was about 7 from TV comic which I've lost -and I never got to even see the car to live the dream
Wonderfully done.
Please colourise the entire series. Take my money. We've been waiting a long time for this.
The hiding of the strings is even more impressive than the colour!
the strings don't need hiding, its part of the shows charm
strings..what strings..what are you on about?
The strings above the puppets you plank
Wow 🤩 stunning 👍
I remember enjoying both these shows back in the day
Mike Mercury and Supercar! Those were the days.
Spectacles like milk bottle bottoms, he needs an instrument that large to be able to see it, absolutely marvelous. 😊
First time ive ever seen supercar in colour .
Amazing
Brilliant absolutely brilliant.
Amazing ! Love it !
Fireball XL5 was my era. Still remember watching
Amazing......Thank you 👍
superb ,brings them alive!
AWESOME
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE for the love of all that is pure and good, do a colourisation of Torchy or Twizzle
Awesome,yeah.
Great colorisation 👍
Satisfactory... MOST Satisfactory!
Brilliant
Strange, I know these were all B&W (didn't have a colour telly until mid 70's as I had a mean old man!) but I feel as though they always were in colour. Might have been the copious amounts of comics I bought that did it. Great stuff. Got here looking for Supercar, them were the days!
WOW!
Superb
I remember this show as a kid back in maybe 1965?
Great colour. Always loved that fact that the port engine switch fired the outboard engines and the starboard switch fired the inboard engines.
This is really good
"As Doctor Beaker will say "Satisfactory most Satisfactory"
I was a member of the Supercar Club and I still have my club badge somewhere. Happy times.
Takes me right back to my childhood
I used to love watching these two shows in my early teens. But, DANG! Do they look *good* in color!
Wonderful!
I love the thunder birds , creepy when I was a kid... still creepy looking puppets.
These look amazing. And one of my fav Fireball episodes. It's a shame I won't be able to join the stream. My internet just can't keep up with streams.
The piano player’s voice sounds like the old prospector on SNL. 😆
Very nice 👍
I had the Steve Zodiac puppet as a kid ... It was exactly the same ,,, blown away ...
Whereas I have seen Fireball in colour before it's great seeing Supercar my favourite of Gerry's products in colour. Are we expecting to see more of these?
So these were apparently B&W shows? Woulda never guessed with this sampler
The first time I saw Fireball, I was convinced it was a brilliant spoof of TBirds! :-)
Holy shit this looks phenomenal. It's really hard to tell this wasn't filmed in color
