Empathy Into Action: Community Engagement at OES

Community Engagement at OES is a school-wide program that connects students with the communities that surround them. From our youngest to our oldest learners, the Community Engagement program builds in students the capacity for empathy, compassion, and problem-solving. Students develop an understanding of the value and the gifts that each person in our community can bring and reciprocate back to us. Aligning with our Episcopal identity, Community Engagement asks students to consider those beyond themselves and to approach the community with love, care, and a deep humanity.
