Here's what makes you amazing: you are not spending a ton of money to make your spaces look great. You find uber affordable pieces with style and you make them all work. That is what I call talent.
Jorge.... can you give some ideas.... or do a video on styling a round coffee table? I have a drum shape table that i don't know wtf to do with🤣 i literally just have a candle and a crystal chunk. I hate a cluttered look... there's a fine line between cluttered and just right.... also a fine line between minimal and empty😂 help!!!!
I am a staging student so I watch home decor videos daily for my studies. Your design style is refreshing, you totally get the assignment, Cohesiveness is essential. I love BOUCLE, but can only get a throw pillow. Gone are the boob lights ,everything was just impressive. The sofa legs opened up the space with height by letting you see under. Was that a jute rug? I have the same floral stems in a cranberry color. You accomplished so much in a minimal space. New subie..... 🌝😃
The best way to keep a light color sofa clean and looking like new for years is slipcovers. I am not talking about those cheap "surefit" covers that do a decent job, but not perfect. The best is custom-made covers with piping (if you wish) made out of super-strong washable fabric. I have an old (20 years) Ikea Ektorp sleeper sofa. When I bought it there was a clearance sale on covers for it, butter yellow and another set gray with navy blue abstract wildflowers. Each set was reduced to $7. I bought 10 sets. To this day my sofa looks brand new thanks to slipcovers. People are amazed how old the sofa is. I did change the foam in the cushions over the years, but keep it because of the slipcovers. They are game-changers. Get slipcovers made and you will have your sofa for many years.
I LOVE that everything looks like a piece of art but hen put together gives a cozy feel. There are a few interior designers that have this style but i never see my self like lounging in their livingroon. In this livingroom, its so cozy i do! Great job! congratulations!
looks great. If you were going for an illusion of a taller space you could paint the trimmings, sconces the same colour as the walls. Makes a huge difference
Great option for televisions, short throw projectors! You can get a retractable screen on Amazon that's remote controlled for less than $500, a short throw projector can sit on a credenza looks like a TV box. And literally no more than 6 inches away from the wall you have a 150 inch television 4K.

I love the contrast. Like someone else said, neutral but not lacking personality or personal style. I really love the lamp and large artwork over the sofa, and how that works with the more modern pieces. You and Arvin both blend it all so well.

I got a good laugh when you said “are you like me and look for antique pieces even if you don’t need them”….that is totally me, then I drag my husband to go look and or help me pickup stuff from the curbside that others see as junk but I see the potential. I love the living room area because besides looking minimalist I think it's quite functional. I need a coffee table this big to use with my Bellini sofa from Manhattan Home Design, and an area rug whose style and materials I haven't decided yet because I'm not very good at making those kinds of decisions. Gorgeous!! scotchguard will protect your beautiful sofa, the wall lamp would look nice on the left side of the sofa or the credenza..as you can never have too many lights...you have awesome taste and the way you put together thrifts and different styles is very classy...
I love your house. You can put doors on the front of the tv japandi style but in white mesh, door options textured style like the painting or even just put art work on the tv. Have you seen the DIY where the tv is hidden but remotely accessible. I love what you did Jorge keep them coming, love ya!!!
I really love your style I have the black doors in my home as well. I am guilty of the boob light in my kitchen I just have not got around to changing them yet. My Decor aesthetic is black and white as well with touches of woods.

I was waiting for this! Beautiful! Love the lime wash, white trim, and black doors. Also love that you fitted out the credenza to meet your needs. I absolutely agree with you about the blinds. I think they are necessary for the most control, and if things aren’t practical, they just become a nuisance. They sort of melt into the background, anyway. Living room and home office are perfect! The light fixture in the home office sends a pang through my heart 🤩😍. Was happy to see Ralph 😄
I immediately knew those curtains were from half price drapes- We have them in the slate teal down stairs (all MCM design downstairs) and in the oyster color upstairs- they are the nicest curtains, hang beautifully and go w/ everything. You space is lovely, it looks like it belongs in a magazine- love all the thrift and marketplace finds also. You mentioned wanting to do something with the bookcase, looks nice as is but have you thought of making framed door fronts with the wicker caning, a nods toward the chairs in the dining area? Love your videos!

Depending on the actual shade of white you can use bleach spray on certain dirty spots but when it comes to general cleaning a micro fibre cloth for dusting should be enough

Great find on that African stool! Since you noted how heavy it is, I think it’s probably solid ebony. You could check by drilling past the depth that a stain would go on the bottom where you can’t see it. If it’s hard to drill and the color is solid all the way, I’m sure it’s ebony. You could take it to a specialist, but a friend of mine from Kenya gave me a carving on an ebony branch that included the outer wood layer and it’s far heavier than it looks and extremely dense.
Overall this is done very well. The attention to detail is evident, and this is well curated . As stylish as the recliners are, the scale and height of the recliners aren’t as complimentary to sofa as I think they could be. But like I said, this space is well executed, A+

Everything looks LOVELY, Jorge. The only thing I'll knock you on is to be more wary of the colors you choose for the trim. The walls are very warm and the white on the trim is very cool toned, it doesn't mix well. Otherwise, the rooms look amazing 💪

I would apply protective spray on the couch. That's what I did when I had a white couch (before parenthood) and it worked so well.
