Halter Breaking A Foal. Baby Horse First Time Wearing A Halter

Baby Belle has been getting a little too independent, so come along as we teach her how to accept a halter and learn to give to the pressure as she learns to lead. We are very excited about this baby, and we want to ensure she will have a successful future so safely teaching her the basics will be so imperative.

Could you give any advice for when the foal fights you to get the halter on. I have a 4 week old who I did desensitization stuff on and she will let me catch her. She's doing pretty well yielding off pressure with a neck rope but everytime I try to get that halter on she fights. I should also say we are new to horses in the last year and this is our first foal. Any help is greatly appreciated. Love your training style.
