    the practice of blinking diagnositc LED in loops (as in 29:17) is a very useful practice, particularly if activated at *different patterns* in different segments / loops / phases of the sketch

    Hi. I will try to make a few “smart” questions :P
    A) What programming language uses the Arduino products? Are these example’s lines of code written in C or C++ or in a genuine language of Arduino company or it is a specific microcontroller chipset (Atmel) programming language?
    B) the “Arduino IDE” programming language doesn’t matter so much as it really depends on the “board” we select in the Tools menu and the programming language that specific board uses, like ESP32 for example?
    C) I know that ESP boards could be coded using the Arduino IDE but what is really happening when one choose to program it using micropython? What is that part of the untold story when selecting the board in the Tools menu?
    And ultimately, please don’t forget answer to question A :) I do really want to clarify if the genuine programming language is C or C++ or what. Thank you so much. I really enjoy this video

    finally someone who makes me connect thank you Eli key word understanding IDE remember the one thing that drawed me to you was my desire to learn . Truth is I've never heard of you before but its sooo nice to hear someone who puts it out there like I felt at the time of needing to know about that one subject which just so happen to be IDE for Ardino's programming boards.

    HiSo I'm at a lost on what to do..
    When I logged into my FB through my computer I got a message from someone that I know but do not have on my friends list asking me if a picture sent from me was meant to him.. Now on top of me not having that person on my friends list on FB the picture sent to him was taken from my Instagram account which is private. That freaked me out!
    Now a text message was sent to one of my contacts on my cell phone which I clearly did not sent and some calls were placed which I also did not make. I had the phone in my possession all day and it has a passcode lock to get it. Now I don't know if the FB thing was done thru my cell phone or computer because I had FB app and some others installed on my phone. The strange thing is that no one else reached out to which weird messages made from me just this person whom I use to work with... Any advice

    I would want to kick the developers between the legs. 90% of the world that uses these have older computers.
    but this uses the latest version of JAVA to run and I was told to just buy a newer computer as it will not run on Win-98, so I got win-7 box and for the 4th computer I have tried to use, it will not run properly. if they want to offer an introductory software, it should be able to be run on older computers. like the LINUX world did. they said to use that 'old' PC sitting around and it will work faster than the 'new' box running any version of windows.
    I am so tired of the 'upgrades' that offer new stuff I do not need and then requires new hardware.
    if you search the forums about the IDE on the Arduino site, the threads for how to install are in the THOUSAND posts. many having the same issues.

    • @The2Coolest2
      @The2Coolest2 Před 6 lety

      Who the hell is still running Win 98? No, 90% of the world is not using that. Most people who use older Windows OS's are using Windows XP. If you had XP, that would of made more sense.
      If you are on an old machine using Win 98, it most likely doesn't have hardware capabilities to handle Win 7 and it's various programs.

      The Arduino IDE is a very simple text editor. something that DOS was great at.
      the link to the USB download is not rocket surgery and does not require any real fancy 3-rd party flash or java or such.
