The openITG version of this file has a very minor bug where the receptor arrows are placed incorrectly at the hyper goner part, other than that, this file is completely one player compatible.

FAQ
Q: I'm getting a white screen in Stepmania 5
A: Follow these steps.
- Open %AppData%\Roaming\StepMania 5\Save\Preferences.ini
- find "VideoRenderers=d3d, opengl"
- remove d3d from list
Q: How do you make these?
A: Stepmania has a built-in support or Lua, which is a scripting language that allows you do program all sorts of wacky things in the game.
Q: How do I change the judgements in SM5?
A: I don't know honestly. The judgment changing for this song was done with a thing that was easy to pull off in openITG but not in SM5
Q: Is it possible to run this on an arcade machine?
A: Yes, as long as that machine has either openITG or Stepmania 5 installed. You need to install it on the harddrive of the machine because the effects can't be loaded off the USB drive.
Q: Is this impossible to pass?
A: No, there's actually a video of a friend of mine passing this on a hard dance pad. www.youtube.co....
Q: How long did it take to make this file?
A: I don't know the hours but I made it in the duration of 1½ months. However I didn't work it on a daily basis though.
Q: Why do you have Autoplay on?
A: Because the purpose of this video is to show how this file looks like, and I have two players active at the same time in order to combat some visual bugs that happened at the time of recording this. There's no way I could control two players at the same time.
Q:Oh my god even AutoplayCPU can't get this right!
A: This is completely normal. AutoplayCPU is basically an AI which was programmed to make mistakes in order to have a fair CPU opponent if you can't compete against another human player, however you can activate AutoplayCPU in a normal gameplay situation too.
Normal Autoplay never makes mistakes tough. I really don't know why I chose to use AutoplayCPU instead of Autoplay.

Something that killed me when I saw undertale played, was that back in Waterfall, a manuscript or engraving or something along that line said that it would take the power of every monster soul to equal that of one human soul. And at the end, Asriel had absorbed six human souls, but needed the 7th to break the barrier. And he used all of the monster souls as the 7th human soul to break the barrier. I thought it was so super cool and so super sad at the same time.
I remember those tablets, but I never connected those dots until just now.
Holy shit this was way beyond my expectations.
Absolutely amazing, I loved everything about it.

Can I please make it very clear that pestering Puuro and Taro for SM5 versions of simfiles doesn't make them happen any quicker - We're accustomed to working with oITG and porting to SM5 is a long and arduous process that involves 90% of the time just testing and retesting over and over again. Some simfiles may not be possible to port at all. We will try what we can but we can't guarantee both versions for everything. Please understand we do this as a hobby and have lives outside of this awesome thing we all do ;w;
Why does Asriel remind me of myself...there was time I also wanted to reset Time and Space itself making the world and the whole universe. Forget those dreadful mistakes they made. Though my brother Roy said no matter how many times a Temporal being resets anything the mortals don't change...as for her...her death is necessary in this world. So what will you do now. Those words that day I understood why people continue to tread the path of death and despair.

This is so good man. There are a few typos here and there, but it completely captures the feeling of the fight in the actual game. I am literally getting emotional over a Stepmania chart.
+Jayme Kalpin Oh yeah, the dialogue doesn't go 1:1 with the original dialogue of the boss battle. I had to shorten some sentences while trying to carry across the same message, so there are some little differences. A couple pieces of dialogue are also randomized so there's that too. And english is not my first language so there's always the chance I may have made some grammar errors there and there. That said, I don't mind if you point out some mistyped words or possible grammar errors in the dialogue if you want to. I can take a look at them and try to fix them at some point. Oh and I'm really glad that you like this chart, I tried my best to make it feel like the actual battle ^^

oh hey, when i play this i see a white screen, when i looked in my game folder i didnt find a "Save" file, or a Preferences file, i tried to search but it said it didnt find it, u know how to fix it?

+ZR388 Thanks! Stepmania probably has gone a long way since those days. For a long time the only thing people knew was possible were the course files (and simple foreground animations) which had kinda limited possibilities, and it took to like 2012 or so when people started discovering that you can actually do a bunch of wacky stuff in stepmania. It even allows you to load simple 3D models on to the foreground layer and Stepmania 5 even allows cloning the player objects etc.
It's funny. I'm a game developer now and I never even considered the possibilities for modding inside stepmania. Kudos to the people that figured it out . Also kind of proud of my "C" in this file right now. Way more difficult than it looks! i.imgur.com/eSTHajt.jpg
+ZR388 Nice! That's not a bad score at all especially if you don't play this kind of stuff a lot. Oh and I think we can all blame Kingdaro, Divinejayce, Taro4012 and WinDEU for figuring out some of this stuff. You should definitely check them out if you want to see more stuff like this :D
I haven't played in years. I used to play competitively with keyboard packs, but the movement is what really messes with me. I've already grabbed "Metal Crusher" from Taro, and it's much easier on my eyes. I'd love to try the Megalovania pack but the download links are down. Maybe it's time for me to get back into SM/ITG for a little while.
+ZR388 His UKSRT series are also worth checking out. Usually the first 2 or 3 stages in those packs aren't super hard, so I think playing them shouldn't be too hard on your eyes either. Plus they sometimes have wacky minigames and stuff in them so there's that too.

+COLLIN STEWART Well, AutoplayCPU is a separate mode of autoplay which can be used as a computer opponent in another game mode. It's basically programmed to miss some of the notes so it would be fair against the human player. However in this video both players are set on autoplayCPU for the purpose of demonstrating these mods :)

The shaking effect can be achieved by having a very high cmod and a very low xmod, and then add some wave and that should do the trick. This may not work in sm5 tho

+Cooly568 The custom judgment graphics thing was a last minute addition for this file. :D I thought about doing that quite early on while making this file but at first I felt like I can't be bothered to.. But in the end it I thought "why not" because it was such a simple trick to pull off anyways
And it's still totally awesome, and as I said to two other Stepmania-er's, Taro and Ducky, it's super cool that people like you and them keep up this community and game that kind of was created back in 2005, it's really cool.

Whenever I dream about DDR or Pump, this is really close to how it looks. I always find a new machine, get excited to try it, meet a few songs like this, and then give up.

Not to nitpick or anything because this is masterfully well made. It just seems like certain point in the song are off-timed with the arrows proceeding to the input box. Whether that's just stepmania's CPU's fault or other, IDK. It just sparks my OCD. other than that very well done
+The Khraken I think it's most likely youtube just fucking up the sync at some point. :D The chart itself is completely on sync. Also, some of the patterns follow the melodies of the backing instruments instead of the lead melody so that the steps wouldn't be too repetitive. Oh and sometimes when an arrow disappears a bit too early or late when it's about to reach the target, it's because AutoplayCPU is programmed to make random mistakes. This was really clever. Might actually be better than the megalovania one. I loved the part where everyone has their own unique attacks like undyne.

I would also suggest at one point having a pause to show the player heart breaking and reattaching, maybe after one of asriels big moves. That way it'd be exactly like the asriel fight.
I mean, I can play Expert decently enough, but I have trouble following it on the easy moving mods on some of the ones I have. This is like insane difficulty movement.

I deem this song the hardest one out of the Undertale songs in Step mania. I've seen the others. None are as crazy as this.
