Hahaha ENTPs are awesome. As an ENFP there is a LOT about them that I just naturally vibe with, doing the whole, saying bat shit crazy stuff and being an idiot while enjoying the sheer pain and discomfort in others of the social awkwardness caused by said statements and actions. Playing devils advocate just for the sake of it, not necessarily because you take a particular stance on something.
I guess the main difference I find in myself and ENTPs is they often seem willing to push things a bit further with people than I feel comfortable doing, and while I might consider myself some empath and emotions guru, I can often feel insecure around the insane knowledge and mental acuity of ENTPs 😅

I think its usually ENFPs that say stuff which I as an ENTP would not be comfortable with. I just like to challenge peoples perspectives by claiming things that makes them think about their opinion. ENFPs in my experience can sometimes get very upset and hurt about even just hypotheticals if they conflict with their Fi moral, even if there is no logical reason to it. Usually if ENFPs say things that are a bit too much people still don't mind because the ENFP doesn't feel bad about what they said and their incredible authenticity just soothes people to not think about it too much. However many of my ENFP friends and family members are often a bit oblivious to what the person is actually feeling if there is a difference in their own Fi to the Fi of the person they talk with and end up projecting their own emotions in a given situation too much. Sorry the for the ramble, I really like ENFPs ^^

I LOSE MY STUFF and suprisingly I still have a composed and most non-chalant response when I left my passport at a local Starbucks and all of my friends are panicking and reaching out for me to do the best they can.
My phone, watch and even earbuds seem to be dissapearing in my bedroom where even I stood by menacingly "oh welp, lets buy another one" and days later I found my missing stuff convincing myself having a two for one deal so its a win win scenario for me.

I'm not sure that ENTPs are quite as indifferent to truth as you make out. I'm a firm believer in absolute truth. I'm also perfectionistic about correctness, conscious that the truth is bigger than what can fit in any given brain, and, in any dispute between people that aren't me, more likely to pick apart the position of the person I'm talking to than of the party not present (because just echo-chambering the grievances of either party back to them isn't going to actually resolve anything, now is it?). This probably does a large amount to create the devil's advocate image.
truth is subjective and a social construct. research has the potential to change the truth in a mere second. when you really think about it, we will never know what truth is from an objective standpoint.

Huh. About 2 years ago I did the personality test on a couple of different sites to see if the results were consistent and I always ended up ENTP.
I didn't give much thought to it, it was just a neat little thing. I wasn't even sure if I (or anyone for that matter) could really be categorized as such since personalities are so nuanced.

There are different kind of ENTP. I do not ENTP match with INFP. I've been dating ENFJ, ENTJ, and ENTP. Believe me or not. As INFP, If I try to be open and get so hard to know ppl then I get a boyfriend. The longest guy to date is ENFJ. Meanwhile the shortest guy to date is ENTP. I can't endure the yapping and narcissistic guy. He keep saying to me like this "stop talking". But then, he continue to yapping about himself. He always cut me out. When ENTP guy doing it in my public, it feels humiliated. If I am not talking to you, then I will talk to my friend INTJ or INFJ. I stay away for a while and talk to them more. All things private and deep conversation. He get angry and said I am cheating on him. But, INFP only need a partner that willing to listen. Surprisingly ENTJ ex bf can listen more than ENTP ex bf. Also, I got a lot of money from ENTJ. He helps me more than ENTP.
This is his problem that I never like. The ability to yapping and make arguments over anything drives me away. Lack of self awareness and not patient to listen what ppl say. Keep saying, why must I keep hear your problem INFP. 🤣 Oh come on. It is you. You not realize it. You. Got problem. As well.

I think the "convince god that he doesn't exist" part would be actually the opposite because being an ENTP will ultimately result in you becoming religious or at least admit that there is a creator, you see the most visible quality of the ENTP is the ability to think really quick during debates, and whenever an ENTP will start thinking about God, the counter argument of his existence becomes absurd in the ENTP mind, because he or she cannot debate the non existence of God. As an ENTP my brain understands that this specific thing is out of limit and mostly the world and everything I love about it exists because of someone who created it. I've never lost this debate from the day I accepted the existence of God. My family are very religious too, they tend to tell me "When we argue with you, the devil himself sits and takes notes from you" I guess I validated my ENTP status lol

One thing I have been curious to dig into is why ENTPs and INFPs seem to all have severe depression, whereas ENFPs and INTPs seem to have a much more light hearted carefree attitude towards things. Even when ENFPs or INTPs occasionally get nihilistic, they seem to do so in a memey sort of way. Whereas ENTPs are the very definition of the smiling mask over a crying wojak meme. And INFPs are just the crying wojak. Why is this?

ENTP: Probably because the world is awful and beautiful and so is humanity, and I have no clue on how to read my own feelings while I can read others peoples feelings like books.
We do this all just to look for happiness, but as we don't believe in anything, we can't find a goal to chase for. An entp doesn't do the same thing for too long, and to have an established life is like a necessity for others personalities. We migth seems to fail as we become adults cuz we can't keep a wellpaying job, or just be crazy depressed about our wellpaying job that we hate. Anyways, we are there to have fun. Why have a depressing talk?
