Fr.Greg and Daniel listen to Fr. Dan share his top ten board games of all time. What a great list! Let us know what you think down below! Music: www.creatormix.com
LOVE LOVE LOVE that you have priests on your channel. So great! We're Catholic missionaries who love board games so this just makes us so happy! Keep up the great content. Always love your channel and your joy!
Great list! Pulsar - It’s on my shelf of shame, but one I really want to play. Underwater Cities - one of my all-time favourites. My favourite way to play is with the asymmetric assistants and starting tiles from the expansion. Teotihuacan - on paper I should love this game, and kept trying it again and again, but it just didn’t work for me. Fields of Arle - love it, but I haven’t played it in quite a while. I still haven’t figured out how to play well, but I always enjoy it. Praga - One of my favourites. I think I’ve played close to 100 times on Yucata (and have now been playing on BGA). It’s definitely one that gets more enjoyable as you get better at it. I wasn’t sure I liked it after my first two plays, then it quickly became a favourite.
Always love seeing Obsession! Such a great game! This was a great list and such a fun, uplifting video. Father Dan seems like just about the sweetest person ever. Loved the back and forth at the end 😆
This is easily the best top ten on this channel. The delivery was impeccable, starting each with how many times you’ve played and where it is on bgg and the descriptions, was really entertaining and insightful! You made boring euros sound exciting! I bet you make the bible exciting with your homilies! And that’s quite the feat. Lol jk jk jk
This was a great video and a solid list of Euros! It's making me regret a little of two games that recently left my collection... Teotihuacan and Praga Caput Regni. 😊
Great list 👍🏻 I’ve held Newton in my hands at my FLGS the last 2-3 times I’ve been in there, contemplating purchase. Father Dan’s recommendation may have just tipped the scales ⚖️. Great video - full of infectious smiling and laughter. 👍🏻
What an awesome video, and what a great list. Maybe a little too much Suchý (two's company, three's a crowd!), but undoubtedly they're all fabulous games. Had so much, much fun watching this. Thanks guys.
Boardgame priests? My prayers have been answered! Local parishes and churches where I am have no idea how to fit tabletop games into Christian. Time to keep looking for more.
@PunchboardParty I was near a Lutheran Church that pulled night on game nights. No one else is doing anything, they look at interest in tabletop games as not mattering. I need to talk to a priest or minister about where the gamed can fit into things.
An outstanding list! Underwater Cities, Obsession, Praga Caput Regni, and The Magnificent are all in my top 20. The Magnificent is actually my number 2 and Praga is number 4.
Eldritch Horror - still reigning. Much more streamlined than Arkham Horror. You can buy everything and that all of it - not like a the LCG (good money after bad) . Most thematic, best expansions, great art, great storylines, really hard but losing can often be more fun than winning, loads of replay ability, great co-op interaction - strategising effectively with other players is essential. You only really die if you get through all the investigators. Masses of engrossing content. It's the Daddy!
We are all at three different Catholic churches in the diocese of Saskatoon. Not sure if Fr. Greg and Fr. Dan are online with their parishes. I work at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Saskatoon.

Ooh I like Dan! Infectious smile and enthusiam.

It was great putting this together with you and Fr. Greg. Looking forward to game night this weekend!
O yeah! 17 something or other right??
We need to see more of Fr. Dan!
I was about to say on the collar. I was doubting if Fr. Greg was actually a real priest. But now I have confirmed 😅😂
Now, back to watching the video….
🤣 Yes! I wondered if people were confused why I called him father all the time. I am glad we have evidence 😀
Absolutely phenomenal list with a group of the most delightful people! 💕
This is the BEST Top 10 video EVER! What a joy!
Thank you 🙏!!!
Always love seeing Obsession! Such a great game! This was a great list and such a fun, uplifting video. Father Dan seems like just about the sweetest person ever. Loved the back and forth at the end 😆
He is probably the sweetest person ever!!

Father Dan kind of reminds me of Dana Carvey. He's great! Very entertaining!
That’s an awesome insight! He is just as entertaining for sure!
😂
This was a great video and a solid list of Euros! It's making me regret a little of two games that recently left my collection... Teotihuacan and Praga Caput Regni. 😊
O yeah! I’ve had that feeling plenty of times! My last cull, I actually kept games that I put up for sale to avoid that feeling haha
Lots of great games, good to see a new face.
Love the camaraderie!
He’s a great fit on the channel for sure :)

I was surprised that there weren’t more suchy’s on the list! 😂
Too much Suchy is not a thing. 😉
@@family_meeple Come on, a little bit of Feld at least!
@@netdancer confession: I have only played two Stefan Feld games and only one made it into my top 100. Carpe Diem came in at number 20.
Yes to more love for Village, one of my all time faves
It’s good!!

We have a monthly game night at our church. That’s all my doing though! It’s a pretty cool way to get someone’s door in the door

Newton made my top 10 as well!
Hey! Another vote for Newton!
What an amazing list! And LOTR LCG at the top is so fantastic. Fields of Arle, Village, Teo, Pulsar, I mean come on. 🎉
He has the art of being a board gamer down pat!
I haven't even heard the list and know it's the best!😂😂😂
😂 I’m glad you can tell already!!
This was a good time! Great list! Dig the dry euros!
Dry euros is where it is at apparently 🥳
Great list, guys! 🙏🏼🔥
Thank you so much!!!
Fields of Arle is a masterpiece! Great list!
This list makes me want to play every game on this list!
An outstanding list! Underwater Cities, Obsession, Praga Caput Regni, and The Magnificent are all in my top 20. The Magnificent is actually my number 2 and Praga is number 4.
Awesome that your top games match up so well!!
How wonderful. Glad you enjoyed my list. And I should comment that you’re doing great work on your channel. I’ve been a subscriber for some time.

O yeah! What a bargain!
Great video. Keep up the great work.
Thank you!!
What church do you guys go to? Is it online?

These are catholic approved games folks ❤❤❤
