President Hinkley will always have a special place in my heart. When I joined the church in 1999 he was the first prophet I ever heard in my life. He was a special man that I will always remember. I miss him.
I know what you mean my first President holds such a beautiful place in my heart,start of a beautiful life ❤
He was also my first Prophet when was first Baptised always be fondly remembered
I'm not Mormon, but I do consider myself a Christian. This brought tears to my eyes.

That feeling is a confirmation of the restored gospel. Please if you haven't yet, look for the missionaries. They have a message that will bless your life now and forever, especially ask them about lesson 1 and 2, it is my favorite. I know the gospel is true, i know the savior died for us and i know his love is for us to feel and you too can feel that peace if you listen to his servants. We never know when our actions can change someone’s life. I’m thankful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and the impact it has had on my life because of those people I know that were put into it by god.

He was the prophet during my teen and early adult years. I love that man so much and will always feel like he was MY prophet.

I love watching this video with my children. It brings a tear to my eye every time I watch it. Imagine what the man working in the field must have thought. As far as he knew, these silver dollars came down from heaven. When we are in any level of service to our brothers and sisters, we are also serving God.
The dollars did come from heaven: they were given to the boys, who chose to listen to the Spirit and bring them to the farmer.

Every time I see our sweet, departed Brother Hinckley, I miss him with such a profound sorrow. How glad he must be to be rejoined with his sweetheart on the other side after crying himself to sleep for years after her departure. President Hinkley, you were a wonderful father to all of us while you were here and we will never forget you or the greatness of your works. And give your beloved wife our love.

President Gordon B. Hinckley was surely anointed of the Lord. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus have exalted president Hinckley, and he has been given a crown amongst the prophets of old. Together with Moses, Elijah, Isaiah, the Apostles of Christ and the Apostles of the Americas, and Joseph Smith, President Hinckley is now seated upon a seat of glory with them. Amen.
