I think this quote from Goblin perfectly explains their whole story in a nutshell. Goblin waited 900 years for his Bride to pull his sword out so he could rest in peace, but then he fell in love with her. And the fact that he’d wanted to die for all those years, and now he wants to live, for his Bride. The irony in the two words ‘sad love’ is absurdly genius and I think the writers for this drama did an amAZING job. I still haven’t gotten over this drama. It’s still my favourite 🥺

After 5 years i watch it again for 16 eps straight. Cant believe i cried once again. This piece of music is so sadd when its played in the scenes. Among the underrated ones is when Kim Shin had to lie to Eun Tak that pulling the sword could make him prettier. Glad that there are lots of funny scenes as well otherwise the whole drama would have been too tragic and super sad.

But this drama has taken me to a whole new level and has nailed so much of memories and attachment deep within my heart. I want to live for a 100 hundred years , look at her in the eyes and tell her, Youre my first love.
