My favourite singer from the Gregorian choir group Chris Tickner. He has a wonderful voice what I adore very. But every singer good voice. And of course Amelia Brightman, wonderful voice. - Hudba
This brought tears to my eyes, The last unicorn was a part from my childhood I almost forgot and to hear this melody again is just beautiful.
America did a fantastic job on the music for the movie. Gregorian did a fantastic cover of it. If they ever release a deluxe blueray of the movie, I hope they add this song to the credits. It would be perfect.
I’d love the last unicorn I thought it as a child and I thought it was the most beautiful thing and when we got it on DVD I bought it I think I was 21 when I did

"The last unicorn" I'm guessing, it's an animated movie from the early 80's/late 70's if I remeber correctly.
Animated movie in 1982.
first it was an utterly amazing, fantastic book by Peter S. Beagle. read at your own risk. it will definitely make you question everything you know about life, love, and friendship.
it's one of my favorite books, but i only let myself read it once every 10 years or so. it's that hard to cope with the feelings it evokes.

I’m old too. It’s something about the lyrics and score that causes you to have a moment of hope in this world of misery- that beauty and magic still exist somewhere.
I wholeheartedly agree, today's music just isn't the same as the music played then. Too often are the themes of violence, money, and the worst - sex - sung of again and again. We would do well to sing from our hearts again, and this song is a reminder of that. I saw the movie as well, brilliantly done.

Wow my favorite movie of all times
Can you imagine if they did "Close Every Door to Me" from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat? In spite of it being a low point in the story, it would be an inspiration of hope on a grand, epic scale!

Its amazing the creative song writing of the original artists, America on this song. I believe the original performer really captures the core essence of a prodigy fantasy author. However, with this particular cover I don't feel this version truly adds any depth. I must say that professionally this cover is solid but at the same time, there is nothing here that excites me. Kudos for the attempt and I respect the talent behind it.

Wonderful idea to power-up this beautiful song, but the lyrics are very important and not well suited to the smooth nature of chant especially when paired with this epic instrumentation. Also, one thing I always enjoyed about the original is that the last chord doesn't resolve - like the unicorn, the song doesn't end - and this version dispensed with that idea.
I was making the Next dnd campaing, involving unicorns as MC guffins, and this allow me to make It and feel It Epic AF.

This version is more reminiscent of me to original book, and I would love to finally see a live action adaptation if the last unicorn that is more true to the novel.not saying the og animated movie is bad, cuz it's not and is a master piece of its own right and is my favorite of all time. but the novel has so much more stuff in it that expands so much left out in the animated movie that I would love to see expanded on.
