Tenere is a great bike, I nearly upgraded mine but went for the Tracer9 instead as I’m doing more onroad touring. Great to see you back online dude👍🏻

My man when you gonna do a big tour series again, I loved watching your africa tour 2 years ago, it has inspired me to get my license because I really want to start touring, finally I can financially afford it so I am doing my CBT next month.

I have the Mitas E-07 Dakar on as well from day 1 so I cannot compare them with the Pirelli. I have tarmac experience so far only but can't complain. My Barkbuster hand guards are from SW-MOTECH with a black aluminium bar so they nicely integrate match to the Rally Edition 💙💛 colours. Safe rides 🤛🏼

Looks like a good selection of add ons! The first mod I am planning to do on mine is to swap out the stock grips for heated grips. Since you also changed yours, I am wondering whether you were able to get them off without destroying them? Great video 👍

Have you ride with a passenger and the luggage on the side doesn’t it bother to the passenger can they reach the footpegs without problems?

How’d you recommend this bike for long distance across Europe? I’m looking at this bike cause I don’t want to be ho held back if I encounter off road, which is my worry with a tracer/vstrom or versys . Need a bike that performs well on pavement and off-road (not too technical obviously)

Seat Concepts offers 3 different seats for the T700, and they ship internationally.
In Australia that bike set-up would not last too long Mate but u have some better ideas!

The biggest negatives (IMO) of the Tenere 700:
- You should check this on a demo ride, the *_snatchy throttle_* which happens in all gears.
- The bike at 450 lbs (205 kg) wet. This is on the heavy side for off road.

Out of interest, how do you find it on the motorways? I only ask as I too am looking/wanting to ride the TET but know I’m going to spend a fair amount of time churning out the miles getting there so am looking at the T7 or AT.
Very comfy on motorways, i did 2 500 mile days in a row, may require seat and screen mods for added comfort, 80mph all day long

After the African trip... you not fancied a trip across Middle East.. Central Asia etc... I’m 43 and dream to do this once we pay the house off.
