To those wondering what this song has to do with God:
If you hear her testimony (she has a lot of videos about it-- if you watch some Jamie Grace Show episodes or "I Choose Joy," or Ransom Note's testimonial video about her, you'll learn more about it), it will make much more sense. She's been through quite a lot in her life so far. Having lots of health issues, struggling with bullying and etc., she's had a hard time and it's been difficult for her. But God gave her the ability to choose joy even in the hard times. That's why she made this song, based off of Psalm 30:5.

Jamie Grace has inspired me lately as I've gone through a lot since I was a child too. I had a very abusive father and the enemy tries to use my PTSD symptoms to hold me back-- I get some anxiety and depression issues, along with a lot of unwanted thoughts-- and I know it's just Satan trying to keep me in an area of bondage!
The reason Jamie Grace has inspired me so much is because Papa God has told me to pursue joy. I feel like He gave me Jamie Grace as a role model for this. Papa told me He's going to heal me of all the trauma that's been haunting me for so long. I'm going to trust Him and start embracing my new identity in Christ, but please pray for me, because this is a major area in my life the enemy doesn't want to let go of-- and sometimes the amount of mental and emotional trauma is so severe that I just have to give it to God and call on Him for His help.
You are so amazing because Papa God made you that way! Thank you again.
