I was a 13 year old Madness die hard with a ticket to see my heroes at Norwich UEA November 5th 1985 - they were attempting to save the world at Fashion Aid in London. Eventually Madness crashed onto the stage probably 3 hours late and played their whole set - Suggs waved at me on my brother's shoulders - and I got a massive bollocking off my Mum for coming home at 2am on a school night.. well worth the ear-bashing.
