In the same way as todays Formula 1 cars are made of composites and carbon fiber materials to achieve maximum strength with minimum weight, ProPulse propellers are made of composites, which are stronger and 40% lighter than aluminum. The Sting Ray Performance System is designed to get your boat on plane faster, eliminate chinewalking and porpoising, and improve stability and fuel efficiency. The system is based on the Hydrofoil Stabilizer, now made with SPEED-XP™, and extreme performance hydrophilic material increasing the speed that can be achieved with previous models. SPEED-XP™ is thermally bonded to the base polymer material of the hydrofoil. It binds a thin layer of water to the foil, dramatically reducing hydrodynamic drag and improving overall performance. Unlike simple curved or flat planning aids, the Sting Ray actually creates lift improving cornering ability. The Sting Ray's ability to get on plane more quickly not only benefits waterskiers, powerboat racers and others looking for quicker acceleration, it also improves safety by keeping the bow of the boat down and improving field of vision.
