Ae you guys worried at all about the longevity of the panels because they're already cracked? I imagine you could spray them with a stain/sealer too and that might help protect them a little?
I love this idea. Thank you for posting. What are your thoughts on using a galvanized post master post along with your fencing idea? I'm going to attempt to copycat your build at a 6' height.
tough questions, depends on how efficient you work and if you have the right equipment, 1. duration of work by completely guessing for you I would say 4 days to set posts, 4 days to install the panelling. 2. you can go to any construction site with scaffolding and just ask who supplied it to them and then keep making phone calls. you gotta know the right people. we got our boards for 3$ each.
you have to find the company that is supplying the scaffolding boards to large construction sites you then find out who takes the damaged ones away and call that company. they will have pallets of them.
@@everythingresidential no way. I am shocked by that. I had a pile of wood in my side yard for a season, and it's ruined, rendered useless, due to the sun.
@@energeticsoulhealer888 if you use the basic 1/2” fence boards or standard lumber it does degrade rather quickly. This being build with repurposed scaffolding wood which is osha slow growth high grade lumber it’s a little different than most standard available wood. It is what the customer wanted and definitely a test of how it will hold up in Arizona or any climate but 3 years in and so far it is holding up perfectly with the sun and our monsoon winds. Only time will tell.
I mean, misleading af title. Yeah, this was cheapest FOR you, getting lucky. I saw how you told someone else you obtained the wood and, even mentioned in this video the posts you’re using are $10-20 each. But all you say is “know the right people” to get them cheaper. That’s so annoying.
If you live in a city like myself then there is a 100% chance their is a company that supplies or picks up retired scaffolding boards from large construction sites. The price per linear foot is by far cheaper then most fencing systems
How much to fence in from let’s say Southern California to El Paso Texas?
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Get the mexicans too start voting red, theyd have a wall up withen a few months
💀
Now that’s funny shit
Cheaper than hosting millions I imagine
C.A.C are keeping on delivering quality! Highly recommend they fixed my patio and did my sister's kitchen addition.
This looks super cool thanks for sharing and for providing details.
Great Idea. Endless uses.

That's awesome. You need to do a scaffold deck next!

do you have a link for the posts? and where did you get the long pieces?
Seems it's hard to find builders around for regular people
Great info!! Where do ya buy them? 🤠👍
Cool intro music!
What would you estimate the time would be to complete this? We have about 130 feet x 3 sides....and where does one purchase retired wood?

Where did you get these boards
if you know the right people..... and how do we find the right people?
I’m in Atlanta where can I find the wood in Ga.
Where can I buy these used scafolding biards? Im in the South West Missouri

Hi how much did it cost for you to fence your whole yard with this board?
It’s about 30$ for every 8’
I built mine with posts and pickets from HD for $50- per 8 foot last summer for comparison. I like the look of this even better
We could not do this in Arizona. The sun would degrade the wood in one summer. We have to use block.
Looks great tho!
This house is in Gilbert Arizona, and it’s actually been 3 years since we built it

Did you say $5 a board? that is a lot of boards.
Me realizing I'm cheaper than cheap when my heart sank as he said 5$ a board. Hahaha dadgum Joe biden 😂
Amen
Shouldn't you tar the entire posts?
It’s only necessary to tar the portion of post that’s in the dirt, the sun drys the post above ground
@@everythingresidential Ah! Thanks. Sounds like I should tar it all here in the Tongass National Rainforest🤣!
