Innovative and groundbreaking describes the upcoming release of the collaborative
effort between International Soca Superstar, Machel Montano and the critically acclaimed director from the motion picture "God Loves The Fighter", Damian Marcano. After the success of "Fog" and "Float" it was inevitable for them to team back up yet again.
When the two got together they knew they wanted to do something different for "Happiest Man Alive". The video concept begins with Montano crash landing to a place called Planet Mas. At first sight, the area seems quite barren, but upon further inspection he realizes he is not alone. After following a beautiful woman across the desert-like planet¬¬¬¬¬¬ he finds himself in a magical garden where the inhabitants experience eternal euphoria. It is a futuristic play on the creation of Man finding his life partner and sharing Happiness with his Woman.

The vid is good the concept good. He's in the middle of nowhere and when he should be stressing he's just moving along until he finds an oasis, somewhere to rest and be refreshed. Even if the conditions are bad he still moving on living his life experiencing new things. Good for u Machel

So one out of the many videos he decides to have an alternate concept with High Production Value and that makes it wrong? Looking at the recent success of Bunji which was a result of the past 10 years of treating Soca Music differently, this shouldn't be an issue, MM has done more and understands how to market the 'culture' lets see those other videos get played on MTV.
this video has no relation what so ever to the song .... why would you shoot a music video which is supposed to be in relation to carnival in a desert ? a desert represents death,and famine, carnival on the other hand has to do with joy and color and excitement please tell me how those 2 things relate to each other ? now don't get me wrong the song is good i personally think the video is bogus.

soo why must it be obvious, storytelling has various methods, u can be abstract. literal, but to me i see it works he starts off in a very lonely place (desert) but he then reaches a oasis - a place of rejuvenation where its shown in a carnival type setting and there he comes alive. it doesnt have to be jump up blue devils jouvert. this video is packaged very well and will do a great job in making the wider community hear soca music, the dancer by themselves are well known n will bring a great following to the music. its good to break the norm sometimes is all am saying once the end result is achieved making ppl kno about soca music.
