Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive and have children after 6 months or more of regular, uninterrupted, unprotected sex between two people of reproductive age. It can be primary or secondary.

Jessy, l didn't have a child for 12 years after marriage. Infact l had my first child at 37. Before this, my husband and l had reached a point where we were resigned to living our life without a child. I can assure you that those 12 years were the best years of our marriage.
Let those who are struggling with childlessness remember that this is the one thing that ONLY GOD will do. And he will do it at HIS time. And if HE chooses not to, be peaceful. God is at work Jessy. My heart goes out to you. And my friend, you are soooo young and beautiful.

My dear human beings will always be human beings , the time I took looking for a baby at first my husband was the best ,he used to tell me baby me am not on pressure God will bless us one day , deep inside I could wawo God u blessed me a best husband who could stand with me amidst my childreness but u can't trust human beings only God can be trusted coz one day he lost hope I think also pressure from his family and friends and started speaking negatively so yo eyes should be on God not on human beings dear coz for them they change within a minute .

Just listening to such stories makes me repent to Our God. because initially I was soo disappointed at the fact that I was pregnant with my amazing son who is now 10 months because I was single and also i took contraceptive pills that time and so was sure i was safe, But GOD had placed in my womb an amazing baby who i cant stop thanking GOD for. May GOD Lift your head sister and bless your womb.
Psalm 113 says that He (God) settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children. It shall come to pass.

Thank you for this. I marry late in age and then struggling with fibroid, at the time I didn't know that was what causing the I fertility until 4 yrs into marriage I started having heavy periods that lasted longer than usual, went to the Gynae and she was more concerned about getting me pregnant that she overlooked the fact that the fibroids may have to be taken care of before trying. I changed gyane who said this problem need to fix before pregnancy can happen because it is huge, I have to do surgery, surgery date was set but covid threw it all off. I am now 40 yrs old and people who I know and even those whom I'm just meeting kept asking where is our child I got depressed over it until my husband said, we know what our issue is, they don't know and it doesn't have to be their business to know, if it is God's will for us to have a child, it will happen if it's not his will, we praise him none the less because he sees the future.
You will be okay. I know others know your position who gave birth. You will be okay.

It’s been 3.5 years for my husband I and we are still trying. But I’m believing that all things truly do work for our good because we love Yah (God). I did use contraceptions for 2 months and then stopped. Then a few months after that I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome or infertility in other words). It’s been hard but I am truly trusting and believing the Most High now. I feel when you say that you’ve gotten a job, then the husband and then the only thing you’re missing is your child. Then seeing people who have “oops” pregnancies and some who admit they aren’t ready for a child, meanwhile, you who are married and sitting in the seat of hot desire for one aren’t able to produce. We are daughters of Sarah and Hannah. Even though it is hard to see it happening now, Abba is faithful. Love you all very much and looking forward to hearing good news some day from you all.

I went to church with Jassy, she is such a lively lovely person you would never guess her struggles. I am thankful to God for her continued positive attitude. Children are a gift from God. We should stop asking people why they don't have them.
Jassy as a Christian, you know that God is the one that makes children. That should be your number one reasoning. God set every time of your life. He will do what He will in His own time. Celebrate this time with your husband. Be blessed
This is a very interesting to me. I’m a 27 American who doesn’t want kids, see women who want but can’t have them is heart wrenching.
However Not being able to bare children shouldn’t be the end, you’re still a woman. Make the best of life, don’t dwell. If it’s meant to happen trust that it will.
I don’t think children is connected to my womanhood, it is something I can take on if I want but it doesn’t define who I am.
Absolutely right! Sure, having childrennif you want them is great hut if you can't; it's not the end. So vert many children in Africa & all over the world are in need of a family....you can adopt if not naturally. You're still a wife, a woman, valuable if you can't produce children ladies. You still cook, clean, are a helpmeet to your husband. You are still great!

Ohooo my God.....I don't know how I landed here but am grateful that at last I have found a person going through the same pain like me ...The best thing I treasure most is my hubby who doesn't put me on pressure to have a child but the problem is, the public is driving me crazy 😜 🤪 🎶 🙃to the extent that I had to move to USA where having no child is a normal thing not like in Uganda.

Story of my life. Thankfully God came through for me miraculously. 3 beautiful babies now and still counting ! The joy victory brings made me forget who said what. God is so faithful.
This is a good and interesting conversation. As a young woman who lost her ability to carry a child, I believe we have to stop equating our womanwood with having children. We are more. Life will happen and when life chooses us we have to learn to accept that it is not our fault. It is ok and we will be okay.

Thank you for your story. I live in Australia and in my family I'm the only one that can't fall pregnant. I hate going to family functions now as I'm 31. My husband has two children from a previous marriage so for me they are my children.
The worst happened to me my husband married while still married to me - His wife gave him his child he desperately wanted & I remarried & live a happy life with my husband- No stress nobody asking me questions... l deal with my childlessness - My heart goes out for the women who have to go through this - who feels it knows it💗

After my struggles with infertility for 8 years, I never never ask anyone when will you have kids. It’s a sensitive topic and we should learn to mind our business. Some women and couples maybe doesn’t want children, some I fertile, whatever the reason is, it’s not our place to ask or bring the topic up unless that person brings it up.
Jassy you have a beautiful heart. Surely in God's timing, any time from now, u will have children. You have spoken to many💕💕💕
Jassy my sister, God has his ways. I too have fasted and prayed for the fruit of the womb but nothing has happened. It's 9 years now and the money I have spent could buy me a house. Am blessed my husband is with me in this.

He is definitely using you for His glory because you have such eloquence and peace about the wait for a child and God’s will and His timing and His planning your child not only for your pleasure, but for His glory and His plan for generations to come. Everything people say and more. How are the children, what are you waiting for, some just whisper as you walk in and pretend to smile when you get to them, others hug you weirdly to feel your tummy. The wickedness of this world! Then to some people you aren't woman enough because you have no children. But God is the giver of life. Thanks for this episode.

I can relate because I had a missed miscarriage beginning of this year but I'm now pregnant again with my 3rd baby. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel.
I've had 5 pregnancies. my second pregnancy ... She's 13 but I've had so many losses that you just keep moving. Yes it hurts.. But grieve and keep going. 😊

I am living in Switzerland and hear stories of couple struggling to have a kid and this concerns as well young couples. There are so many reasons :
toxicology ( air pollution, endocrine disruptors, incinerators, some medicines-contraceptive pill, ...);
food containing more and more heavy metals and chemical fertilizers,and less and less nutriments, too much dairy products are not good either, lack of omega 3, vitamins;
all those have a negativ impact on microbiota and vaginal flora...
stress : are you in harmony with yourself and with wour daily life ?
....
I support the couple in this special journey that is very emotional, painful and difficult and wish good luck to get a healthy baby!

I am in this same situation. Married 2015 and up till now 5 years later......nothing. Even with prayers and faith, check ups etc. Everything she speaks of, i am currently going through. Can't even stress that enough. It is so very frustrating especially as a Christian
Im 8 years. I had two miscarriages at 20 weeks and 19 weeks gestation. I no longer subscribe to any organized religion but I have made peace about not having children bc I know there are other options. I plan on adopting.

Thanks for coming out! I have waited for 14years but I believe it’s better for pple to ask because it’s a reminder to God that some thing he promised in exodus 23:26 is not fulfilled! And secondly you fill the pressure in those first years but after some time it becomes normal, though prepare your mind Incase he gets another woman or children elsewhere bse no man is Christian enough to sacrifice for his wife. May God guide you through this journey

It is good to marry and have children...but only at God's appointed time. Don't compare yourself with others. Fix your eyes on God and let him Guide you (and me).

You do have a supportive husband Jessy, just like me when his family members where putting pressure on me I wanted to leave the marriage but my husband told me I'm not God and I should wait for God's time keep my stress levels low and everything will be alright. So it happens that I went to see a doctor I was struggling with constipation and I didn't know the doctor then asked me if I was married and if l had kids I said yes I'm married for 6 years with no child. He told me to bring my husband with when we arrived he checked both of us and said my eggs were to small to conceive he gave us tablets told us to pray and if we didn't conceive I should come back either for another check up or to he would give me a prescription to buy tablets at the pharmacy called fertomid. I was then told to buy fertomid the month that I thought I was supposed to conceive it didn't happen and I gave up. Only to find out that the following month I was pregnant. now my boy is 4 years, hope you will conceive too
