Gregory Porter is the epitome of what a real artist is in our modern era of music from any genre. His delivery on this song is sophisticated,smooth and sexy. His songs embodies love and he conveys it with lyrical excellence. If you've never seen this brother live,then you're doing yourself an injustice. I've had the distinct pleasure of seeing him three times in concert and he hasn't disappointed. What you hear on his recordings is what you hear at his concerts,clear, crisp and clean. I have all of his albums and I can't wait for this masterpiece to drop.

He is one of those rare and very gifted artists who has a unique sound, lush voice and belongs in the company of such other great artists like Sarah Vaughn, Phoebe Snow, Nancy Wilson, Al Jarreau, Shirley Horn and Ella Fitzgerald. I’m aiming to make this the first song I listen to when I move into my new home shortly. I’ve lived in California my entire life and I want cold, rain, and quiet. No artificial life or ego. Just a small home with a back yard to watch the rain, read a book and drink coffee in a nice chair. This will be the first song I play when I finally sit down in that chair in my dream house somewhere in Oregon or Washington. Love this beautiful song.

Something very magical about this song with Mr. Porter's earnest and soulful voice. The arrangement is divine and supports the melody with essential and timely accents. This is real music with a purpose - to tell a story with intelligence, superb harmonics and integration of heartfelt lyrics. Hard to get it out of my mind as I often reflect upon when I first heard this song floating in a lush pool, full moon on a warm summer's night creating a rare transcendent experience.
