I bent a perfect (and very small 1 cm) offset first time following your directions, having never done it before, even using a borrowed Rothenberger bender which has only 45 and 90 degree marks on it, which meant eyeballing the angle. If I were to buy a pipe bender I would get one with proper angle markings.
Where you decide to pull the bend i.e inside outside edge centre of pipe you pull the bend to that mark. City and guilds teach to the centre of the pipe but as above you decide where you pull the bend too. 👍🏿👍🏿
