Vacanze romane = Roman Holydays, recalling the title of the famous movie with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck (1963).
The song is about something magical (like Rome's postwar atmosphere) that nowadays has gone lost.
Simply a masterpiece. One of the best Italian song ever.
Thanks for accepting my request ❤ I think this song is a true masterpiece, because it requires a bit of genius and madness to mix together sounds from the 80s with a classical 30's melodic songwriting, and make those two parts just fit together. Surely this isn't their most technical song, but arrangements are pure gold

Many good singers but nonexwith Antonella's personality and charisma, not only she has unique vocal skills she's also an.exceptional interpreter always adding something... personal tastes aside I believe this song is a gem, they played elektropop with retro style making it sound, thanks also to Antonella's vocals, like a song from the 30s...
This is probably Matia Bazar's second most famous song, after Ti Sento.
There are some hidden gems of her too, Cavallo Bianco is just incredible and dramatic ,and the high vocals she does there, no one else could do that 💥🔥

After Antonella's exit, Matia Bazar found excellent singers. Antonella's voice is unique in the world. One of the singers who replaced her is the wife of Mango, a fantastic singer who unfortunately died during one of his concerts 😢😢

I think the best period of Matia Bazar both in terms of music and vocals was in the 70s and 80s while Antonella Ruggiero was the lead vocalist. After her exit there were some good substitutes, but none of them could match Antonella ❤️🔥 One of her best songs is Cavallo Bianco, she just takes you all the way up to the space with her vocals💫
