      Yeah I'd stay there, if the price was right!

      Yes I would. However I have the amazing advantage of living here in beautiful north Wales so theres no need.

    Yesterday I came across your videos as I was a bit homesick for Snowdonia (I'm from Bethesda) and watched a few of them. Today whilst looking to see what's on the market (I guess I'm still homesick) I come across this exact cottage for sale on Rightmove. Spooky as hell. I'd call it fate but not sure about £150k asking price. That said, still less than my dingy 1 bed flat near Croydon!
    Btw, very long time ago but I also got a bit lost coming back down from the Glyderau and ended up going via Bochlwyd. I think I was 16 or 17 so would have been late 80's. Glad you enjoyed visiting my homeland.

      Ooooh good spot with the cottage on Right Move - I've had a little look at it myself, it looks just like how I remember it. I wonder if the new owners plan to move in or rent it out as a holiday cottage too? You grew up in such a stunning part of the UK, not that my home town was particularly stunning... but like you, I live around Croydon and sometimes wonder how I ended up here. Could you imagine how much a 1 bed cottage like this one would go for round here?!

    Super cute! I love the rock around the fireplace and in the garden. Would definitely stay there.

      Ooooh, you guys are the 2nd to mention both of these elements within the cottage in short succession of one another. I loved these features too!

    What a lovely little cottage, nice tour! I love the look of the flint inside near the fireplace and the garden wall out back is a nice touch - I guess they're a bit limited as to what they can do in the back garden. Looks like a great place to use a base for exploring north Wales.

      I think you just picked 2 of my my 4 favourite things about that place. The other 2 were the vaulted ceiling and the view from the front! So pleased you enjoyed the tour!

      I had no idea about most of what you've researched and shared - very cool to learn! The one thing I was aware of is Sykes Cottages as they're a big company who you can rent a cottage through within the UK. So pleased my videos are continuing to help you with your English and understanding of the UK.

      Haha, no commission 🤣 I believe they used to have a system where you could get credit if people were referred by you, but I started this channel long after that disappeared

    Pretty mean of them not to leave enough logs for at least one night 😠

    • @WhenAdventureKnox
      @WhenAdventureKnox  Před 3 lety

      It would have been a nice touch, but to be fair to our host, it was stated clearly in the AirBnB listing that there wouldn't be any logs.
