I'm 95% sure that's Scott on the solo. I hear the Dimebag vibes all over it.
He is an absolute monster! One of my favorite solos in recent memory, and just hits in all the right places!!
The drums on this is by far my favorite instrument on this track.
All of these guys are masters of their instruments. It’s fun to listen to each of them separately on each take!!
First time I heard this song, it gave me goosebumps. It's been on repeat ever since
It’s soooo good! Any song that gives me goosebumps is special in my book!!
What a song. What catches me is the ethereal harmony vocal part with that heavy, low riff backing which in spite of it has a melody it. The guitar solo, it feels like a show off or nod, depending to point of view, to "old school" shred players, such as John Petrucci.
Seriously! You hit the nail on the head with that description, and this song has so many layers expertly stitched together. I personally LOVE a ripping guitar solo, and it fit the song perfectly, while still being a technical wonder!
Next needs to be Neurotica Full Band Playthrough if you haven't heard it already.
Awesome videos dude 😀 got a recommendation for you, an instrumental funk guitar juiciness called "Cory Wong - Concrete ft Mark Lettieri"
You shall not be disappointed 😆
Amazing recommendation! Cory and I crossed paths at music college and am a HUGE fan of everything he does!!!
Really appreciate the note and the recommendation!
That was Scott’s solo. Heavy Dimebag Darrell influence.
That nasty 8 string groove to the song was fantastic. This is probably my favorite track on this album.
@@catalystguitarguy This one has grown on my a TON since the first listen. That solo is just nasty!
This is one of if not my favorite songs on the album. Also, Scott is the one who played that sic solo. He said in an interview that he was going for something very Dimebag inspired and I personally think that he succeeded.
That solo was FIRE!! That is totally Dimebag inspired and I can’t get over how amazing it is!! I’m a bit obsessed
