- This horse is actually technically probably a pony. He’s quite small in height but quite round in width!
I suspect he has some underlying metabolic issues and has had quite a few inflammatory episodes in the past. He’s doing well so far this winter. The cracks are growing out with his lamellar wedge and he is moving around very comfortably.
Feel free to ask me questions in the comments section. I will do my best to answer them!

Excellent video! I really enjoyed your clear voice and explanation of each hoof as well as the possible reasons the horse needed rehabilitation.
Thank you for watching and for your feedback!
The sound levels came out just fine, and I appreciate your clear, calm, and thorough narration. Very nice.
Thank you for watching and for your comment! Always nice to hear the videos are being enjoyed!
Good to see you on. Enjoy your videos.🐴
Thank you! I’m finding out it’s definitely easier for me to be more active on this platform during the winter!
Thank you for an excellent video. Sound and viewing was near perfect. I enjoy doing my horses feet and it builds the bond between us.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! I love that your are doing your own horses feet!
Good, professional job. I love your clear explanation. That is a Fat horse! Fat pads at his withers as well as those on his rump. Heavy crest, fat above his elbows too. The green grass he is on has too high a sugar content even in winter. This boy needs a dry lot and low quality Timothy, Teff or orhard grass hay.
Thank you for watching and for commenting. The owners are really trying to help him. He lives on a dry lot most of the year and gets Bermuda hay. We suspect he may have cushings though and might need medication to further control the symptoms 😕.
Another awesome video!! Thank you!!
Thank you so much!
