Im new, and don't understand what all the equipment uses are. I had trouble with size grass bales because the equipment to wrap it said It didn't support the grass size. Got me very confused so I deleted the saved data and I plan to create a different grass size bale compatible with a wrapping equipment. It was part of a contract and didn't so I didn't want to waste the geass bales if I could and lose the contract. Instead I felt it was best to restart it and do different size bales preferably round bales this time than square ones
I started today and I was lost from the start. But I enjoyed being lost in the game so I kept looking things up and trying tutorials. Probably the most fun ive had playing a game in a while.
I am sending this to my brother who has a PS5. Hoping to get a family business going. Thanks Mr. Sealyp. I played FS19 on PS4 for 5 months before I learned about Mods. :)
I've never touched the game in over 2Yrs,this popped up on my recommended and a wave of nostalgia came back. So now I'm spending my Sunday dusting off the Side panel & wheel and going for a spin in my favourite Massey. I love your enthusiasm for the game and the community as a whole is lucky to have you helping out, a lot of other games communities aren't as lucky,Now I just need to remember my key bindings.
I really love this game. It's just so neat to have all the functional equipment. I like how they pretty much just keep improving the series too. Each release brings new stuff without sacrificing previous content.
I wouldn't love this game so much if your videos hadn't helped me figure it all out when FS19 was free on PS Plus. Great to see you still supporting new players.
I really enjoyed this. I would like to see more of this type content. Maybe pick a subject or two and do a deep dive into it. I like learning new stuff or even a refresher.

I started playing FS19 when it came to PS Plus so wanted to give this a go. I like the trophies because they give me something to work towards, which I need because I get easily distracted and there's just SO MUCH to do in FS22. Really enjoying it at the moment, playing on Court Farm map and watching along with your Let's Play with you working as a contractor for KCC.
Well done Mr Sealyp. I always like how you include me players. We often forget that people may not have been playing as long as ourselves.

Finally left FS 17 and just started FS 22 the other day. This has been very helpful.
Trying FS19 when it was on PS+ was what got me to try the game originally, and onto your channel shortly after.
I don’t think there’s another game I’ve been as happy to discover, from knowing nothing to eagerly trying everything.
Hope there’s a horde of people just starting on a similar journey!

I've downloaded it on PS+. I've been with you since 12k subscribers and your let's plays got me to purchase FS17, and then FS19, so I know the basics, ploughing, cultivating, fertilising, seeding etc. I've held off this because I didn't like the new visuals, although Oxygen David's modded maps are more like what I want, and I was a bit overwhelmed with the added functionality - not being that knowledgeable on farming. Now is the time to give FS22 a go and this video will be invaluable. So thanks MSP 👍🏻

Hey sealyp know this has nothing to do with current video but I’m found a small problem with precision
Farming so after harvesting field and you go to replant to get your direct seed (tillage score ) all good so far but some seeders offer fert aswell . So think great 1 pass all good (this where gets bad ) so whilst your map and field info show you the fert is applied correctly in the precision farming menu it dosent register that you have applied fert and dosent award you the score for nitrogen ( has been tested by myself ) just thought community would like to know as I don’t have the followers you do :) would appreciate the shout out if you do the video on it

I’ll be a new player to fs22 soon, but I have a question as you’re the console guy for this franchise...do you think ps4 can handle the upcoming premium edition with its multiple dlc/expansion packs? I’m worried about issues with lag/frame rate issues and crashes. I love fs19 and I don’t run a lot of mods so I’ve never had any issues so I’m hoping I can get the same experience with 22. Thanks.

I've been playing this game on and off for over 10 years, and even I watched this hoping to learn something. 😂
I have been playing since Nov. 2021. What amazes me the most is that to this day when you get on a new map how daunting it is finding your way around and learning the map. But by 10 or 20 hours you start knowing it like you live there. I spent a long time on Elm Creek, then due to feeling closed it and confined on a small map (on pc) I discovered Elm Creek Extension, a 4x with Elm Creek in the center and spent well over six months on that one. I know every single pixel of Elm Creek better than I know my real life town! I believe learning the map itself...in any game...is one of the biggest challenges for the new player.

Here we go again, the last time I played a Farm Sim game was almost ten years ago. I'm not sure which but The Witcher 3 came out the same day and though I bought both day one I ended up playing Farm Sim first. Years later and the game is so different (especially with mods) Now I just have to talk more of my friends into downloading the Plus version of the game.
I have a question, i have a friend who wants to play this game so bad but he doesn’t know anything about farming but the main problem is there are no videos in his language to help him , how do i help him
Maybe send a no-commentary playthrough of the game from the start of a new save file on new farmer difficulty. He can watch and follow which machines are used in what order and where to sell items.

I'm having troubles with the global goods transport Palette I have downloaded other mods since Them and have gone back and uninstalled them. But I'm still having problems with the palettes. Does anyone have any suggestions?
For some reason…I can’t see the government subsidy sign as an option.. it only gives me wind turbines and solar panels. Do I have something toggled off?

@@lynncantrell2782 figured it out on my own actually. The government subsidy is a DLC. Once I installed it put the signs up and poof in comes the money.

All I'm doing as a new player is mowing the grass and baling it for money. Took me forever to find out where I have to go to sell the bales. My weeds have grown too tall for the weeder I bought XD.
I've enjoyed playing but I still figure out how to lower the damn ramps on the trailer to load my equipment. PLEASE HELP

Are the DLC s a one time buy?
So how do you get rid of all the things on the ground/field that the harvester leaves behind?
A baler. Run over the straw and grass left on the ground and make bales of grass and hay.

How do the mods work with cross platform multiplayer? Will all players need to have mods installed and will they work cross platform?
It worked for me cross platform but all players needed the mods downloaded

I am new to the game my dad did a logging contract with me he didn't want to do farming
I wanted to play this game so bad but I can’t because it’s too bright. I turned down my TV brightness. I turned down my console brightness all the way I turn down the settings in game for brightness all the way down and it’s still too goddamn fucking bright. it’s like the screen is just washed out all the time. I just can’t see fucking anything.
This is a joke. I literally just bought it last month if I knew it would be free this month I would’ve waited

Technically, it wasn't free. You need PS Plus to access "free" games. And that ain't cheap (it's been gettng more expensive with diminshing quality games, so I'm cancelling my sub)
I bought FSm 22 for PC on sale anyway, and have no regrets. The mod community alone is well worth the price.
6 months late, but I hope that eases the pain a bit. 🙂

That’s more of a role play, they have mining dump trucks and equipment but nothing set in stone as far as mining goes

Is Farming Simulator dead? I don’t know why but I get the feeling Giants are bored of this now. They seem to be moving towards forestry. I don’t like the production part of the game. It never made much sense to me. Also they seem to be pushing out mods in bulk then leaving us days with nothing. It was better when we would get a few almost daily. I have played these games almost daily since FS11 but I don’t get the same feel with this one. I just get the feeling soon this game will become more like the transport tycoon type games with a little farming chucked in. Anyway good video as usual.
Not sure why people complain about options? Dont do forestry or productions. Nothing in the game requires you to do these things. Dont do animals, dont do vineyard work (me!), dont use mods....whatever...Play how you want to play. Dead? Are you serious? It is more popular than ever and Giants is just following the money...As any good business will do. Life is about change, and most people, deep down inside, dont like change. But you might as well get used to it. You could always continue with FS19 or 17 or whatever...
You seem a little defensive! I was only making a personal observation of the game’s direction and Giants as I see things right now. I play the game how I want to. Sorry but I can’t help feeling Giants have or are starting to lose interest in the farming game and want to move into other things
