I been loving to learn about msfs and aviation in general the last days and honestly I never got what Icying is about, I just knew it was bad if you wanna keep your plane in the air. So I learned: carb heat comes on, if the air is humid, it also comes on if you're navigating through any scenario where you may have ice forming inside your engine. Also: I want to put it one if I fly with reduced power
