Hey coach, when I use the backhand low serve in singles, I want to know how to handle deceptive shots that opponents sometimes use to receive serve. Like, they could hold a while and then flick the return flat to the back court. How do I counter that?
I suppose the question is, how do I position my feet to prepare to hit the third shot? Because we play doubles so often in amateur games, we’ve sort of forgotten how prepare to hit the third shot after we hit the low serve.

Thanks for the excellent video. Regarding the spin serve, most of the spin seems to have diminished by the time the shuttle passes the net - any suggestions? I'm standing right up to the line and leaning in etc. but obviously something's missing as it just looks like a good normal low serve when it reaches the opponent.

    • @BadmintonFamly
