From white snowy mountains to the sunny blue sea, concrete jungles to forts of solitudes, Where do we go when we dream of such fables and fairy tales tangled in our minds? Is it a person, Is it a place? Is it an emotion, Is it an experience? Is it everything we have ever felt, saw and realized. Is it something we can't yet articulate. Yet we try, in our stories, in our films, in our music, and in our dreams. Can we ever comprehend the joy it gives when we tap into?
What is it that we think about when we are not here.
That which gives us A Deeper Understanding of who we are.
This video is my humble attempt to place a few pearls I found in 2019 on a precious thread of this song by The War on Drugs. Hopefully, this video takes you to that place which you always think of.
All footage is shot by me.

The opening shot just hit me today. I've had a really rough couple weeks and i had to hear adams voice to pull me out of this anger, sorrow, and fear. And i found this tribute video.

I realized at the halfway mark that this is not an official video for this song. Stellar collaboration. Warmed my cold heart. I miss traveling. The whole thing is beautiful, but I especially like the bus ride at 4:00, where you can see the other side of the street reflected in the windows. Very nice collage. And the end was awesome with the lights going into her mouth as she was sleeping. This is art

It’s like the guitarist was told hey man. If your going make your mark. It’s gonna have to be on this track. The guitarist came thru with some raw notes with all his inclined ever since he bought that hand me down guitar. And bleed sweat and tears to learn chords notes. But most importantly. He plays from the heart.
