- The Sims 1 was fun, the Sims 2 improved the game, the Sims 3 opens up the map... The Sims 4 made them look cartoonish and removed a lot of features. Maybe The Sims 5 will be more realistic-looking sims, houses and bigger maps.

I’d actually not regret spending big bucks if EA made the Sims 5 this hyperreal
This would be perfect I would feel so immersed in gameplay imagine doing a Christmas event with these graphics
i would lovee a realistic sims 5, now whether my laptop would be able to handle it is a different story lol
the sims 5 need to work on mobiles so normally, there won't have too much problems on laptops and PC

This is personally the direction I would love the sims to go. Unfortunately tho, most of the fan base has its hard push back on attempting to make the sims look realistic. I'd argue something like this is perfect, or even a Street Fighter 6 realistic yet cartoony style would fit just fine.

I wish I had the time/energy to learn game coding, I probably should've started like 2 decades ago, lol. I have some ideas that would be great for these kinds of killer graphics. This thing is gonna be soooo lit once release day comes. Don't care if it's the going price of 60 or whatever, I'm getting it. (Average price for games and similar these days in USD.)

Just use the meta human creator in the game it self as it's character generator. lol. Then you can make a sims clone.

Realistic graphics will kill the sims unless there's an option to convert to cartoon style in real time. Realism hurts the charm of the game.
Nope, the cartoony look to Sims is what makes the game enjoyable- if they go for a hyper-realistic style it changes the tone of the entire game. Suddenly it's not so endearing when your Sim catches on fire while making toast or gets eaten by a cow plant or has their children taken away.
