But this one is about a hotel we stayed in for our 1st wedding anniversary. You'll be mind blown, it was SO creepy I took photos (this was back in 2011)

I felt someone sit on my bed in the most haunted house I ever owned. I was too tired to open my eyes, I would just swing my leg under the covers , thinking it was our cat, our outside cat that never came in, as to make the cat get off. Of course there was nothing when I swung my leg. The weight of whatever it was, and the feel of it, was just as if it was a full grown person sitting on the side of the bed.

When my 10 year old Great Dane passed away, I took it very hard and I was grieving intensely. A week after his death, he came to me in a dream. The front gate to my home opened and I saw him walk in, I shouted “look everyone, come outside” as somehow I was aware in my dream that he had passed. No one else responded to my happy shrieks, no one else came out of the house it was just me. He told me, without speaking, that he was aware of my great love and friendship for him and that the love was mutual. He said this would be the last time he would visit me as himself and the next dreams I have of him will be from my memory of him only. This was because, as he communicated, he was now preparing to be transformed , entering a new phase and become something else.

I had a younger sis close to her age & three brothers that loved doing stuff with my uncle. Anyway, I don't know how I heard this story, must have been from my aunt. My uncle was visiting his aunt who remained unmarried in the family home. His dads sister. When it came time to go he went to the bottom of the stairs & yelled for her to come down. On the ride home he asked what she was doing up there all alone. Talking to Pop she said, but he looked young! My uncle's dad had passed only a year before & this was the house he grew up in.

Sophie, the dead absolutely communicate. My mom and I were sitting at the table once and all of a sudden I felt my uncle say good bye. I hadn’t seen him in years or thought about him. I looked at my mom and said “Uncle Willie just said good bye”. My mom called a relative a few days later and learned that he had died unexpectedly right when I said. All I can say is I had this overwhelming feeling of love at that moment.

She said it wasn’t my time. When I was awake I was in tears because I wanted to talk to my nana and hold her. At that point I didn’t know what had happened to me, I was not myself and was all confused about where I was.

I was born in a haunted house, built in the early 1800's and when I was very small, I thought my family was much bigger than it actually was. It took years before I began to put two and two together and realized that the kind and smiling faces that made me feel so safe were the reason why people were reluctant to stay when the sun began to set.

My dad died when I was about 10, and one thing that absolutely devastated me was the fact that he would never get to see me reach all my milestones. Bit of backstory, when my dad died I felt really helpless so I decided to go to medical school for uni. My first flight going overseas for school, I booked it, was there at the airport early but somehow missed my flight. Was forced to fly the next day instead, on the 10th year anniversary of my dad's death. It hit me on the flight that I've come full circle and that I am truly okay now :) and then weirdly enough, a couple days after I turned 21, I dreamt that my dad visited me to wish me a happy birthday! Not even joking, this was the first and only time I've dreamt of him. And it was really timely as it was my first year studying abroad alone. I just felt this immense tranquility wash over me and in that instance I knew he had never missed a single milestone in my life at all.

My father passed away on nov 19 , 2019😩. On the beginning of November i told my dad I was ready to start working. I’m married and a stay home mom lol I was interested in working at aldi’s. I applied and got a interview on the 12 of November. I was so excited, I remember calling Him and telling him about how my interview went. Later that day I got the email that I wasn’t qualify for the position 🙄 I called my dad being very disappointed because it was the first time that I got rejected lmfao he told me to wait and to reapply. November 19th came and he passed away ,we buried him on November 21st . Which I was kind of thankful that I didn’t get the job because I was going to have to quit. he passed away in Mexico😩😩 December came around and I reapplied at aldi’s on the 12 of December. I got a email for a interview on December 19!! Which would mark 1 month of my dad passing. I was conflicted whether to go or not because I wasn’t really feeling it ... The day of my interview I showed up not thinking much of it but, I did get a call that same day for a second interview on the 21st. Which I was really happy 🥰 but I felt bad for feeling happy , make sense!! December 21 will mark one month that we buried him. When I showed up at aldi on December 21st it was to start my hiring process 🥰 which I was so happy about . When I got home and got off the car I looked at the sky and a airplane was writing the word Jesus!! I lived here for 3 years and I’ve never seen any airplane write anything like that !! So I took that as a sign of my father helping me get into aldi.. when he passed away I flew to Mexico and I got there on time to see him get buried. Where he got buried there is a big tree that gives his grave shade! When I went to say goodbye to him and I got on my knees and I started crying and telling him to please wake up multiple times the sun got through those big full branches , I was able to see my reflection on that plastic part that shows he’s face ! And I got so calm that I got up and I said OK !! And I feel that was a sign of him telling me that everything is okay !! It’s a big tree there is no way the sun could’ve went through that idk maybe I’m crazy lol but I just wanted to share this with you!! My condolences to everybody we’re going on two years 😞😞

My grandfather passed back in February. I think it was about two weeks after his passing I was driving home from work. I was starting to become very tired and doze off. Before I could even fully close my eyes I felt a light jerk on the steering wheel. It woke me right up and I was wide awake for the rest of my drive home. Nothing else could explain a jerk like that on the steering wheel. I was by myself. I truly think it was him watching over me that night. My guardian angel. Too many things happen to so many people that we can't explain. So I truly believe in ghosts and spirits.

I was driving home late one night on a country highway that was poorly lit (this was also a time when there were no businesses built along the sides of the road), so the area was quite dark.
I was doing the speed limit (100k), when I suddenly had the most overwhelming sense that I needed to slow down...it was puzzling, but I've learnt to follow intuition...within a few seconds, I had to slam on the brakes...in front of me, in my lane, was a car on it's roof with teenagers crawling from the wreckage!!
If I had not listened to my guardian angel, we would have all been killed.

Basically the apartment was just the living room, the bedroom, bathroom, and the kitchen, but it very much felt like a two-room apartment. The noises were always in the other room. When I heard a odd sound in the other room, I would go check on the other room and there was no one there and no explanation for the sound. I had watched and read a little bit about ghosts and so I was somewhat prepared to approach the situation. One time when I was asleep, I heard noises. I got up and I talked to the ghost and I told him that he had passed away and he needs to understand that. He needs to go to the light because this is not the place for him any longer. I talked very calmly and explained it over and over for about 15 or 20 minutes to make sure he would understand what I was talking about and that he needed to take action to get to the other side. After that I did not hear any other noises in that apartment. I think what I understood about the situation was that the ghost or entity or whatever you want to call it was not bothering me and not to trying make me mad. It was frustrated and did not completely understand why things are not like they used to be. And I think having compassion for that ghost and explaining the situation to it calmly about what the reality was is what made it listen and ultimately what made it go to the other side. So I think what I'm saying is we need to try to understand where it is coming from in order to be compassionate enough to calmly talk to it and explain what it has not been able to understand up to that point. We know how we experience the situation when a ghost or entity is bothering US and it can make us angry because we think that the ghost is doing it on purpose and has no concern for us. However, we do not understand at all what it's reality is and how the situation seems for him. Just because I have an apartment with my things in it doesn't mean that the ghost understands any of that. The ghost is in a place that is familiar to him. That is what I assumed. But beyond that, I have no idea what it is experiencing. So I guess I'm saying it's really important to be compassionate and explain to him what's going on verbally. Yes, I mean OUT LOUD. Tell him what you want him to know and tell him that this is what he needs to do. This is not the place for him. He needs to move forward and go to the other side and when he sees the bright light, he needs to walk toward it, not away from it, and move on to the next realm so he can learn from his experience and then learn from the next experience.

I totally get what you mean! You have a connection to the other side. I used to see my dad in the window of a particular bus that would go by. He would be looking right at me. I also had an old friend that I hadn’t seen since college, who didn’t know my dad had passed, say to me, “Your dad is still as lovely as ever. I saw him down the garden centre last week.” I said that was impossible, he had died two years before that. My friend went completely white as he had told his wife that he had just been talking to my dad and his wife said there was no one there, I thought you were talking on your mobile.

Weird thing to say, but I’m so relieved you had this experience too. My parents bought their friend’s house after her husband committed suicide (great choice, right?), and like you said, everything started fine. Every so often, weird things would happen... but only in my room. I would hear creaking on the landing at the top of the stairs, and sometimes my door would crack open. When we first moved in, I was only eight, and was used to my parents checking in on me at night so Initially I didn’t think much about it, but pretty soon it became clear that it was happening when I knew my parents were asleep downstairs. Back then, it was a little weird, but it didn’t feel sinister. When I was about eleven, though. the whole feeling shifted. I started to see a black shape out of the corner of my eye as I was falling asleep. Every night, like clockwork, I would wake up at 2AM and would sense something standing beside my bed, staring at me. I stopped being able to get changed in the room because I would feel something watching me... and I would get the feeling that it was a man, watching me the way a man watches a woman he’s attracted to undress. At about 13, it wasn’t just happening at night anymore- the feeling of being watched like that came at all hours of the day. I couldn’t shower in my own bathroom, couldn’t sleep in my bed. I moved into the playroom downstairs. At this point, my mom called a messianic rabbi out to bless the house, and didn’t tell him anything that I’d been experiencing. He anointed all of the rooms with holy oil, but when he came to my room his face went bone-white. He turned to my mom, and told her to take my brother and I out of the house. He and my mom then anointed the room with oil, prayed over it, and he blew a chauffar (a ram’s horn that is meant to cast out evil spirits). After that day, I never sensed the presence again. But, what’s weird is- years later, after I was already in college, I found out that the man who had originally lived in the house-the one who had committed suicide- used to molest his oldest daughter in my bedroom, I’m the middle of the night, from the time she was about 11-14. All of a sudden, the feeling of being watched, the inability to sleep or get dressed, made perfect sense. If I try to talk about it, people look at me like I’m absolutely insane. It’s comforting to know that you had a similar experience... If your parents are still struggling with the presence in the house, see if you can find a rabbi with a chauffar. It made all the difference in the world for us.

When you say the dream didn’t really feel like a dream, did it feel like the air changed? Like you’re in a vacuum and there’s this stillness or low level humming or something? I know exactly where your coming from because it happened to me I walked in to this big house which was and still is a gorgeous big old building and you can walk in the big grounds the garden was picturesque anyway as I got out side to the garden it felt really weird hard to explain and a girl walked past me and was twirling round and round singing a little tune and she was in victorian dress (I thought she could work for the museum and dress in old time cloths) anyway I followed her around the garden and we came across about seven or eight people in a semi circle and the was sketching an elaborate gate , anyway I wanted to speak to the girl and I feel she knew what I was going to do because she ran around a big bush ,I was not that far behind her and when I reached around this bush there was nothing there then all the people that was drawing wasn't there and that misty feeling was clearing ,I later found out by the staff that they witness a young lady in the house and garden all the time in victorian dress ,,this museum in Leicester was also on most haunted years and years later ..lol..very weird

I’ve seen a pink ‘thing’ out of the corner of my eye and reflected in the windows at night many times and we have a lot of ‘bumps in the night’ especially from the bathroom. My sister has even seen it while I was on Skype with her. She said “what’s that pink thing?” And I noticed on my little screen that it was behind me and when I turned it had gone... it seems to have a seasonal cycle- very active in March-may, quiet through the summer and picks up slowly from October to reach its peak in about April again. After a while I couldn’t hear anyone breathing so I opened my eyes. There was a figure there that smiled and faded away. I just got an impression of a smile. Amazingly after I found out it wasn’t human I wasn’t scared..the next day I mentioned it to my new Next-door neighbor. I'm a bit spooked myself now because it's so clear in the way you told it how real what you and your family experienced was. I hope (and it seems) it gives you some comfort to know that your granddad reached out to you, that really warmed my heart to see how it touched you ❤️

I'm a nonreligious science minded person. Even the religion I had been raised in did not believe in ghosts or even an immediate afterlife. So when I worked in a "haunted" location, I rolled my eyes if anyone talked about weird noises, things moving on their own, I even scoffed when my military-strict boss came sprinting out of one of the buildings white as a sheet because she saw writing in blood, heard voices threatening her, and whatever it was began to pelt her with random things. It was the wind, strange echos, maybe she was tired, perhaps there was a cockroach under a trash barrel and that's how it moved, or all of this was a series of pranks we were all pulling on one another.
So when one day, very early in the day and before any customers or even other employees were around (ruling out pranks) I heard a child laughing, stomping footsteps vibrating a metal ramp, and a big bell began to swing and ring out (that bell took effort to move, the wind alone could never do it unless it was gale force) I can't explain it to this day. Over six months working there, I experienced so many bizarre things that still gives me chills and leaves me shrugging. I truly have no explanation beyondv sci-fi ideas like parallel universes intersecting or interdimensional beings messing with us.

It could be of mundane activities (like walking down the corridor at 10 pm every nite) or of a more intense nature (a traumatic experience or something fun like a party). You usually hear/see the same thing at the same time and the "haunting" will continue as if you are not there, like a tape play back.
