Clever little device. Brilliantly made!!!!!!
Thanks a lot
Perfeito, ótimo trabalho! parabéns 👏👏
Thanks a lot bro. I have many ideas. I hope I don't disappoint you
That was an awesome project. Let’s see more!
It is a really good job that deserves appreciation
Thanks a lot
I have always said in all my comments
The size of a machine does not matter as long as it can do the job
And yours does
I'm very impressed
And thank you for sharing
Thanks friend for your support
I think it’s a very nice job. I just wish you had a kit for it. I don’t have that kind of stuff lying around. Thank you for sharing.
you're welcome
Felicitaciones, gran idea. Gracias por tu aporte, la nesecitaba
Thanks a lot. you're welcome
One of the greatest machinist of this time
Marvelous ❤❤❤
Love from electrical department of India
I love videos like this, they always leave me feeling inspired to make something!
Alas, if only I had the knowledge, skill, time and dedication to go with the inspiration…. 😳
Thank you. very glad you liked it. The main desire, there will be time. I also took a long time
Thx👍
Thanks buddy for your support.
Excellent concept. There are obviously some areas that need to be improved upon for accuracy, but it's a DIY project. Anyone can have a machine shop cut the perfect parts. The beauty of DIY is creating awesome things like this without $500K in equipment. You've come up with an amazing design. I hope you don't mind me using it for inspiration because this looks like a really fun project. Congrats for making an awesome little device.
Thanks a lot. It's nice to see someone who understands and can appreciate. Of course I do not mind. I'm also very interested to see what you can do. One head it's good, but two better
oh my. soo nicely done.
Very pleasing to se automation without computers acting up, destroying the day (the cnc-operator/programmer in me speaking) :) Also some inspiration & ideas for my machine to be able to get down in mod sizes.
I think i need mod0.15 for my rc-servo project ;)
I have really enjoyed looking at your work. And I liked your machine even more. Thank you very much for sharing your ideas. A cordial greeting.
Thank you you're welcome.
Wow,dude! WOW!!
Thanks a lot
Interesting and cleverly designed gear cutting assembly. Now you have to up-scale it for larger gears and maybe even market such a setup... Thumbs Up!
Thank you. I purposely made it so small. because i need small gears for my future project
subscribed! Congratulations on the way you solved the movement , steps and automation with only mechanical switches ! Your cutting tool is ingenious too. I would have used optical sensing for rotation. In this way it would need electronics, but you would be able to print a disc in transparent material (i.e. with a laser or inkjet printer) , and have infinite options.
Thanks a lot. I see you understand these systems. It's a pleasure to deal with such a person. I really liked the idea with the optical system, I'll take note
Alternatively, if you are to add electronics anyways, you could use a rotary encoder/potentiometer to control the motor and get infinite adjustability without having to change any parts. You could also replace the indexing motor with a stepper to do the same task. I love your electronic dividing head concept though.
Wow wow wow 👍👍👍👍
Great little machine 👍🏻
Thanks a lot
Excellent work! 👍
Thanks a lot
first 2 gears doesnt look so excellent at all. take a closer look
Gracias!! 💫
Felicitaciones, muy bueno.❤
Thanks bro
It takes a lot of engineering knowledge to build something like this and you've definitely got this off to a T mate. Fantastic video.
Thank you very much
Magic!
Thanks a lot
It's interesting how you are able to reuse and repurpose things. 👍 Where do you get all the awesome scrap materials? 😎
Thank you for your interest. mostly at the flea market among the trash
DE OTRA GALAXIA !!
These are forgotten technologies. Everything worked like this before.
Great job. Congrats from Argentina!
Thank you friend.
Very nice work friend, Taking scrap and building a machine is really a achievement in my book
Thank you friend.
Really cool! I want to create something similar to use with my mill.
Thank you. It will be interesting to see the result
Beautiful!
Nice video, thanks :)
Thanks a lot
You still have to think about it, calculate it. But the result is worth it. Cool machine
Thanks a lot. Nothing complicated with calculations. there is a special application in the phone for calculating gears
Quiero construir una como esa.
*¡¡¡ POR LOS CLAVOS DE CRISTO !!!*
Muy Buen Video.
*¡¡¡ BUEN TRABAJO !!!*
Thanks a lot
Amazing!
thank you very much
just need to improve the indexing, excellent proof of concept though.
Thanks a lot. Here the matter is different. I didn't make the dividing disk correctly. But it's already fixed. Watch this video. Here I am making gears for a new project. everything turned out great. czcams.com/video/QChCppBxIl0/video.html
Excelente maquinita 👍
Thank you

And not an Arduino in sight! Marvelous!
Thank you. This was the idea. without computer control
good job! interesting Idea! thanks to you master

show de bola...
Excellent its very precise many projects can be achieved using this overall construction simply smart cost efficient given me some great ideas thanks for sharing thumbs up
Thank you friend. I'm very glad that you liked my project.
Cool video. Please consider making a parts list so it's easier to identify what's needed to build this ourselves.
Thanks a lot. I have an idea to write subtitles
That is correct. At the beginning, you show some sort of materials but it was not enough.
@@garciarj61 it's scrap material so a parts list wouldn't be the most useful for you as you likely wont have the same thing lying around. just look at the general function parts in the video are doing and see what you have that could do the same. If you dont get hung up on using the same parts it's all really easily salvageable components.
Can you give atleast the spindle tool diagram and 775 motor rpm
Superb.
thank you very much
This machine very good.
Thank you friend.
@@serengytech Your welcome👋
Very ingenious and largely made out of scrap I presume
Thanks a lot. yes you are right everything is made of scrap metal
Very interesting. Nice work
Thanks friend for your support
Do you think a bigger version can be made ?🤔i am already thinking about a wiper motors/bigger motors....thats some great innovation you did beautiful concept 💯
Thank you. I think it is possible. I just didn't have the need.
Gear cutting is a very tedious and precision process. But your diy mc is excellent may not be precise but does the job. Very innovative and creative
You are right. There are some inaccuracies in this video. The fact is that I did not mark the dividing disk accurately enough.
Thanks a lot
Hey, I'm with you all the way on using "what's available" to make stuff. And your ingenuity is beyond question. But I think you are a bit short on providing engineering details on the various components here. Like the most important part - geometry of the single-point cutter!
In any case, best wishes!
Thanks a lot. I know that not everything is perfect. have something to work on
Correct🤟😎⌚️🔬
good job bro
Thanks bro
incrible tu maquina estoy euforico mi deseo mas grande es hacer eta increible maquina
Thanks friend for your support
you are so intelligent
😁👍👍👍
SUPER
Thanks a lot
A lovely and intricate creation. I am most impressed by the fact that this runs purely electro mechanically and doesn't need a micro controller.
But if I were to suggest an "upgrade", it'd be a dirt shield right behind the rotation axis of the gear, or outright reversing the cutting direction of the cutter.
Throwing all that metal dust right into the moving parts can't be good for the little machine in the long run : (
thanks, I already understood this and made a protective screen.
Great machine! Do you make the blanks yourself (ie - on a lathe) or do you buy them from somewhere?
Thanks, I'm making my own. there is a lathe not big
O ponto chave desse projeto é o indexador.
This is just great!!!
Thanks a lot.
Thanks for the video. May I ask something; which frequency and features are required for the transducer to measure the concrete or wall thickness?
concrete control is possible only at frequencies not exceeding 100 and 150 kHz.
@@serengytech for example 30khz.
Simply put genius ,
I love the idea
surely there is room for improvement but overall great concept simple yet effective as a diy creator gears are essential to my work and a machine like this surely will save me couple of bucks, i want to know where did you get the cutter is it sold online or did you make it your self?
Thank you friend. Yes, I made this cutter myself
You need a little imagination. nothing complicated
alat yang sangat berguna & manfaat👍
Thanks a lot
Telling you good would be an understatement. You have created a jewel of mechanical-electrical engineering in 3D. Making criticisms of the actual use would be easy but the commitment, the competence, the planning, and the realization as well as the practical demonstration leave no space for you to have the best compliments. Just one observation: if I had the industrial waste you used I could compete with Elon Musk 😃😃
Thanks a lot. This is the coolest comment
Wonderful tool for any shop or hobbyist. Ive been working as a machinist for 14 years so i could come up with most of the parts. My question is where do i find that tiny indexer plate?
Thank you. I don't quite understand what part you are talking about. Please clarify. I will gladly tell
Perhaps you are asking about the dividing disc? It is very easy to make. I have another video on my channel where I make gears on this machine. There I just make such a disk
@@serengytech great thanks for the amazing videos!
Caseiro? Bela engenharia.
thank you very much. Yes, made at home in my workshop
@@serengytech but you are professional. I can't made this.
All this needs is a pitch adjustment. Very nice design though I can see improvements to it. How about a dust collection system and cutting oil drip? This would be excellent for hobbyists who need to make polymer, even glass gears.
Thank you. there is still some work to be done here
Como me gustaría comprarte esta máquina !!!
Thank you for your interest. Sorry I don't sell anything right now.
Very smart to use the punch card in aluminium to control motion.
Thank you friend.
If only my old pa cod build this with me.
It is not difficult. You just need to start and everything will work out. The main thing is not to give up
@@serengytech You don't know my old pa. We're talking about a paralel universe.
wow
Thanks a lot
Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, I have no way to sell parts. Everything was made in a single copy. from improvised materials
9:25 Muy buen trabajo.
Thank you
Hi I'm impressed my long issue to make an indexing automation without using programming. Possible to share the wiring diagram?
Thank you. The circuit is very simple, like a walk-through switch in the corridor
Any motor can be used. How much fantasy is enough. at that moment I found just such in the workshop. one from a screwdriver. and two more with a gearbox. there are many such engines.
Nice job but I have a little doubt about the general accuracy of the gears
You are right. There are inaccuracies in this video. The fact is that I did not mark the dividing disk accurately enough.
@@serengytech yeah, that disk and its interface with the microswitch is certainly the linchpin of the system. I'm wondering if there's anything about the geometry of the switch lever that could make it more accurate. Another thought, when that switch engages, are you simply breaking the circuit to stop the rotational motor? It might be able to be stopped a few microseconds more quickly if you wire it so it also shorts the motor at the same time. "Short braking" is often used in such a scenario to stop these kinds of motors using the back EMF that occurs. Perhaps that's what you've already done anyway.
Very cool project. Love things that are pulled together from random scrap like my own router table with parts from rollerblades and a rototiller.
The slip fit in the center is a problem to.
Sir mujhe ek project ke liye gear banwana hai kya ap bana dijiyega 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Party pooper
So good ii boss 👍👍👍👍😊😊
Thank you very much friend
@@MethelinaPills I have already fixed this error. the reason was in the non-corquet layout of the dividing disk. In this video I am making gears for a new project. everything turned out great. czcams.com/video/QChCppBxIl0/video.html

Great project. I think you would get a better surface finish/fewer burs if you slowed down the cutter RPM.
Good idea
Really amazing, Thanks for sharing!
What type of metal is the actual pin used @12:17? Wouldn't that get wasted while trying to cut other metals?
I'd love to me this ;)
Thanks!
Thank you. This machine can cut gears made of non-ferrous metals. such as aluminum, brass, bronze and of course plastic
@@serengytech Thanks for your fast response. Did you need to to make the spinning pin that cuts or is it a standard product. Excuse me for my ignorance. I am confused about the angle of the cutting edge as I think it may change the shape of the resulting cogwheel. Again excuse my ignorannce :/
I'm really keen on building this thing ;)
@@MIZKhalid I made the cutter itself from a piece of an old carbide drill
I made this cutter by hand, so it’s not perfect.

Thank you very much for your interest in my machine. unfortunately I did not make any drawings. the main engine from a screwdriver. the other two can be any with a gearbox.
great bit of kit i do think that the cutting tool needs adjustment as the teeth are a bit pointy other than that great idea and youve made it
