I don’t know why she did it (although I’m confident she had a valid reason which in my book includes saving herself for the major if, perhaps, she felt at the time she was getting tired or was stressing a part of her body too much for her comfort) but maybe that’s exactly what gave Serena the title. Maybe Azarenka would have beaten her in Brisbane, who knows🤷🏻♂️ I mean, I don’t know which one of the two you supported at the time, but based on your tone, I assume it’s Serena, right? So aren’t we happy for the walkover?
