    Just one nit pick - the LC does not have KDSS that is reserved for the Lexus GX550 overtrail only.

    Coming from a Jeep Wrangler to the LC, I find driving this is awesome! I practically don't even have to touch the steering wheel! Smooth ride haha.

    I agree that the cost for the new Land Cruiser is startling. I paid 45k for my Toyota 4-Runner Trail Sport, fully loaded, in 2011. I still have that 4-Runner and it’s in outstanding condition. It has been worth every dime I’ve spent on that vehicle. That said, the price of the “Land Cruiser” (middle trim) MSRP is around 62k. Add about 10k out the door ( including tax & registration). Regardless, given the fact that the LC is built in Japan, rather than anywhere else (US, Mexico, or Canada) and you can be assured the reliability and quality are worth the cost. Compare the cost of like SUV’s and you’ll be surprised at how affordable the new Land Cruiser really is.

    Big big turnoff, you sit high, what’s the point if there is not enough room clearance ?

    LC is a LC. You don't need to explain what terrain it's for or how it handles.
    If you do then I suggest you go and get a RAV4

    First off, it's not a 'test drive review' as per description, just some random comments and observations on the vehicle.
    So where does one get to test drive said vehicle? Certainly not at your dealership - Maple Toyota. Nor anywhere else in Greater Toronto Area for that matter.
    Any suggestions on that end, other than plucking 100k for a car undriven?

    Unless you pay cash, these things are costly to lease, and finance rates are ridiculously high.

    Smart move to stay away from the problem plagued Toyota's for now 💩

    Thanks for sharing, so I guess for someone > 6’2 to 6’”4 this is a NO No with that Sunroof. What is your take on this ? Which Toyota GH / Highlander / 4Runner would have the most headroom. A bump and you hit your head, funny are they expecting tall people to ride with the sunroof open ?

    • @flamesfan2635
      @flamesfan2635 Před měsícem +1

      I'm 6'4" and sat in a 2024 LC with Sunroof. Headroom was ok in both front and rear seats. Standing behind the lift gate, I had to duck a little to get under it, but once under the window portion I could stand up straight. My head hits on rear door opening when trying to sit tailgate style, but that's on most vehicles.

    • @synergy-jera7812
      @synergy-jera7812 Před měsícem +1

      Hey, headroom isn’t an issue in the new LC because…wait for it…the seat height is variantly adjustable. I’m 6’ and my son is 6’-3” and we both have loads of head room. Oh…and I love, love, love my new Land Cruiser!

    The only problem I have with this Land Cruiser is the leather seats. They require applying moisturizer periodically. I wish the Land Cruiser Land Cruiser came with premium package without leather seat, or 58 version came with premium package.

      @noctilucent7396 but the premium package does NOT come with leather, not Softex. Cloth comes only with 58 model

    Unacceptably low low ground clearance for this so called "off-roader". Ineos, Wrangler, Bronco, Grand Cherokee, Defenders, some Subarus!, current model year 4Runners, Ranger Raptors, Chevy/GM off road trucks, etc. etc. make this thing look like a certified mall crawler.

    • @jojodelima1953
      @jojodelima1953 Před měsícem

      One needs to do some lift and install bigger, wider tires, whats shown is the standard stock, out of the showroom

    • @mando1337
      @mando1337 Před 16 dny

      It sits on a frame so if it were any higher some people (and every child) would need a ladder to get in. Ground clearance is fine and the vehicle is extremely capable offroad. Actual offroad not rock crawling.
