Love the info! What you say about the light is so key. Nobody wants to see a naked light in the sauna! Cover it up.
If you need a budget friendly option, tent saunas like the ones from north shore sauna are great.

I'm building a Sauna similar to yours just a little bigger(12' by 8'). Right now I'm building a roof and a friend a professional constructor told me that I need to install roof ventilation(soffit).
Do you have any ventilation on your roof?
