I have the Noco.. Same concept and works great. I got one a bit bigger than I needed. Never know when you’ll have to help out someone with a bigger rig.

I have just been looking at these and the reviews for folks that actually needed one of these are not that great. They claim the units don't stay charged up and that you need to charge them every couple of months. Also, I have read where if the unit isn't as close to 100% it's a crap shoot if it will start your car. Also, many of these if not all use a proprietary connector instead of the standard auto SAE connector. Which would come in handy for folks that own a motorcycle. You could have an SAE heavy duty harness (10 gage) hooked up to your battery and just plug in and jump start your motorcycle.
I was a little skeptical myself, but overall very pleased with the performance of the jump starter.. my thinking is, is that when it comes to equipment that you carry on your truck for emergency purposes it’s most likely very beneficial to at least do a function check on all of your items at the minimum on a quarterly basis.. especially when it comes to electronics and IFAKS. When I tested this jumpstart, I took it straight from the box never even charged it all the way and it was working at 75% capacity the whole time I did the demos and the jump. For me it’s worked pretty well; time will tell how reliable it is I suppose👍🏼🤙🏼
Have you considered adding hood struts to your taco?
I’ve thought about it. It’s not a huge deal for me, but something I’ve been chewing on 👍🏼
