Billy's nephew Kit comes to visit the station. He ran into trouble when he accidentally broke the window of the signal house. Meanwhile, Schemer's baseball team is practicing for an upcoming game. Kit decided to join the team, but is having problems with hitting the ball and doesn't feel good about himself. He has a talk with an old man named Max who gives him good advice. Max lives alone in the signal house and was a former baseball player. He teaches Kit how to play baseball and was a great source of inspiration for Kit. When Kit was falsely accused of spray painting the baseball scoreboard, he feels rejected and decides to leave. However Max managed to stop the train from leaving. Meanwhile, Schemer's team Is playing against the Snarlyville Slashers. Kit was encouraged to join the team in the last inning. Thanks to Max's advice, Kit hits a home run to give his team the win, and he and Billy made up and became more closer once again.

I love this special it just shows how far in relevant this special was even in 2020 it still holds up excellent and these family specials bring back nostalgia since the series ended up ending in 1993 and these vessels came out in 1995 and 1996 the specials also demonstrates how the cast from season two and three have matured mostly the kids I think it is amazing that they came back to do any and in the actress But played the two girls they did all four family specials even though they were two years older than they were when the television series ended when the family specials came out.
Unfortunately this was the last special to future Dan Jones Stacy's nephew.
