thanks mate, i was so close, pulling the bar, thought... im gonna break something, time for youtube. didnt see the 10mm nuts. you saved me a bunch of time.
Thanks for the helpful video - pulling my bumper today. But...a note on those plugs... Audi made it incredibly easy to disconnect their electrical plugs - you can do it with one hand!! Push in the connector, squeeze the plug tab, then pull out. Do NOT use screwdrivers!
Hi I need to remove my rear bumper cover to paint it on the inner bottom section as the bumper is black and want the section under the bumper painted in silver. This will make my 2009 Q7 look better and not as an cheap vehicle. Thanks for the video this will help me remove the rear apron easier.
It is also said that after you put the, front and/or rear, bumper back on you will also need to bring the car back to an Audi dealer for an additional $250-$500 pre sense sensors alignment as well.
awesome video thanks for posting, super healpfull...but i paused it half way and got the bumper off and didnt see the dont drop the socket part till after i dropped my socket in the hole of doom....guess its gone forever now

Thanks for posting. I just backed up to a column and need to hammer out a sharp dent. I'd use a magnet and fish out the socket.

Nope.. You pull by the latch on the connector and it will simultaneously release tab and pull out. No screwdrivers involved.
