I have been a hige fan of star wars but still the 8th movie was bad and the 9th was redemption from the previous movie bit still it wasn't all that great if you have read the expand universe. Comparing normal movie standards the 9th was great if not amazing but it didn't do justice to star wars as it didn't do what it stood for. The best way to explain this is that they the 'Star Wars' out of star wars. Why? They put in many sources from legends and they weren't even used properly if you watch all the star wars movies and read the canon before Disney bought it you will understand. The force abolities weren't well explained, Palpatine should have gone to a younger body(in legends this arc was great as luke will become Palps apprentice while Leia will train to become a jedi and much more), if Ben could save Ren why couldn't she do the same for him, the knights of Ren weren't even expanded on(i remember hearing they were elborated in a comic but they were weak guard that even stormtrooper can beat) and this list can go on. So please dont hate on people who say they were bad as the expectations weren't met for many long time fans.

White one lost his arm and face due to the big boss’ decision and slowly became corrupt. You can see it in his fighting style towards the end where it becomes more rugged and ruthless like the sith. In the part where he kills his brother you can see the dark side in his eye slowly fade once he realises what he’s done. Well that’s what I got from the vid at least. OR games would be phenomenal films or tv series.

Well, his Brother was the person he really loved and looked up to his entire life. Being the one killing him in blind rage was what initially drove Arcan over the edge more than loosing an arm for an attempt to gain his fathers acceptance. We do not meet Thexan in person, but the fact that even Vaylin at the very least "liked" him together with other info told to us by Arcan and Senya leaves a very solid impression that he was a fucking unit of a man in every single aspect.
This did in under four minutes what Disney hasn't been able to do with multiple movies, get me interested in characters. All without a word of duologue too. You are truly talented. Never sell out.

i think these trailers really did help me sympathize with Arcann before playing Knights and is likely the reason i chose to let him live, the entire family is victims of neglect and manipulation, i hope if the rumours about Valiyn coming back are true we finally get to redeem her so she gets a peaceful ending as well.
Vitiate/Valkorian didn't "die" per se. He's impossible to kill unless you kill his very soul, which eventually happened after his 3,000 year long reign of terror and fear across the Galaxy. He was the embodiment of the Force itself, but favored the dark side heavily. He also achieved more of his own goals than Maul ever did lmao
When you smash a lit lightbulb at a wall, it goes out, if you smash an unlit lightbulb on a wall it doesn’t go out( well you get the idea) so maybe the dark side is more powerful ig

He had lived for over 5000 years and had amassed two galaxy wide empires. Home Boy Satan kylo was the best character in the last trilogy. His character arc is intens, his motivation is believable, he has emotional struggle/conflict that really show every inch of his personality and the way he changes and in the end turns to light. He’s a lot deeper and way more interesting than you make him out to be. The new trilogy isn’t the best but they where still better than the prequel trilogy. I couldn’t even sit through 30 minutes of the phantom menace.
I'm glad Disney didn't make a film about these brothers. It would be shallow and pathetic, save this story for a time in the future with more creative story tellers. We're in a rough place right now

I don't know if you've noticed, but when the guy is about to kill his master, his eyes turn orange just like when Anakin Skywalker turned to the dark side, but when the guy killed his brother, his eyes turned back to their original color. I just love that detail. Like if you noticed that too.

It is such a dam shame that Thexan is already dead by the time you enter the story. I think he must've been a really great guy from what you get told about him. I mean, even Vaylin "liked" him. And that made him the only person she did not hate.

I don't know if you've noticed, but when the guy is about to kill his master, his eyes turn orange just like when Anakin Skywalker turned to the dark side, but when the guy killed his brother, his eyes turned back to their original color. I just love that detail. Like if you noticed that too.

Yep. They're a group of force users hidden in a non explored part of the galaxy. They have no affiliation with jedi or sith. The campaign expansion that this cinematic shows is amazing.
They're not gray Jedi.
They are from the eternal empire. In the sw legend lore they only gought for themseleves, that's why they kill everyone :)

Good stuff. As a long time Star Wars fan since the 70s. I am not a fan of the Sequels at all. Not a fan of Disney's vision. I can watch these Video Game cut scenes/trailers so many times with a smile on my face. Cause I feel who ever written these stories understands the essence of Star Wars. A Trailer for a Game is far Better than a Sequel Trilogy. Let that sink in.
