The coaches were horrible. It was a horrible idea hiring those guys to coach this team fresh off a Superbowl appearance. That was a hard lesson learned. Those first 9 games were won on talent alone. Let's revisit this discussion and see what the haters say this year!!

Jalen should have won the SB in 2023 if the defense didnt collapse. He had a higher QBR than Mahomes in that game. Unfortunately now all the talking head sports pundits will put every loss, every failure of Philadelphia on Jalens head for the rest of his career.

Philly seems to be the Miami Heat of the NFL, not always going to get you to the ring but they don't tank and are ALWAYS in contention with some surprising players contributing - This starts with the owner, ekes down through the front office and is reinforced by the coaching staff. Even with a 20yr losing streak, I would take THIS mindset 8days/wk over the Cowboys, Packers and Raiders approach of living off their past legacies

@@TrillWill24 I think Miami's biggest problem was the new CBA - We saw alot of younger, small market teams take HUGE steps forwards. They were able to do so due to depth. Rather than sink their $ into 2-3players, they distributed it(rightfully so!) across several players. This allows for a deeper roster and, if you lose Butler and Rozier, would have allowed Miami to stay in contention
I'm NOT blaming Butler or Rozier so much as our front office. THEY construct our roster, THEY dictate who it is that Spoelstra coaches - I think it's going to be another 1-2seasons until Miami balances their books and gets back to where we belong(Top5 in the East)

Hurts came up small in big moments in 2023. He needs to bounce back and make better decisions when it comes to situational football.
Really he Beat KC ,Buffalo on game winning Drives and also Lead to 10-1 record Before D fell off a cliff he also Beat 4 other Playoff teams Miami, LA ,tampa ,Dallas. Its a team sport.

I love the Philly approach. They ignore all the off field stuff.
They don't care about culture fits or players with poor character. They target on hype not fit.
If a player had production they will draft them, draft grades are more important to Philly then actually building a team that can win it all.
They would rather have a bunch of guys talking trash about their teammates, even their coach and blaming each other than a team that actually has a winning culture.
