It's all planned. He knew he had another song. People seem to think that the acts have to queue up to go onstage, but that's not true. A practical joker "conned" them by applying for the show and made a programme about it. He had to fill in a detailed application form and knew they were interested in unusual life stories.
He went as an Orthodox Jew and deliberately sang badly. Guess what? He got through to the next round.

I'm so impressed by everyone, especially by Simon. I used to hate watching because he was so cold hearted but the change in him is so incredibly touching.
