King Bosphoramus Hippo is the king of the hippos.. Apparently? We never see any other hippo people in any of the Punch Out games so maybe he’s a self proclaimed king? ORR maybe that’s just his stage name and his real name is like, Dwayne (the Hippo) Johnson or something. Nah I like to think his mother was a Hippo and his dad was a really weird guy who.. Yeah uhh King Hippo is a recurring boss in Punch Out and typically found with pants around his ankles and bags around his eyes.. Guess you can say he’s pretty cool? Ermm, I’d think so!

Especially sense you'd think Mr hippo's rambling wouldn't fit the style or that king hippo's simple premise and presumed simply mind would prevent any clever disses or jabs yet it works surprisingly well

It honestly takes so much devotion to make so many good references about a franchise like Punch-Out!! I died after the Captain N reference and Hippo turning into his appearance there… This was so good to watch!!

Anyway, this is one pretty neat battle made by a pretty great and underrated channel. Keep up the good work.

No one noticed the detail that King Hippo's appearance changed durring his 2nd bar phrase to match his circuit match appearance in the actual game. (Bigger Crown and Manhole Cover)

Can’t believe I never commented on this. This is such a great battle. The beat, voice acting, punchlines, and video all come together to make a funny and catchy battle. Definitely one of my favorites of this year.
Okay, i think that Mr. Hippo won. King Hippo had some really strong comebacks but the non-stop flow of disses from Mr. Hippo just gave him the W. Plus the bar at 1:47 "Forget the manhole, you could eat a man whole!" THAT WAS A CRITICAL HIT TO KING HIPPPO.

An obvious joke character from the Five Nights at Freddy’s series vs an obscure Nintendo character who only appearance outside of Punch Out for the Wii is as a spirit in Super Smash Bros Ultimate being used as a stat buff for the guy who defeated him.
Edit: I did not know that King Hippo was in Mike Tyson’s Punch Out on the NES when I made this comment since I’ve never played any of Punch Out games.

This was a nice rap battle to watch between Mr. Hippo and King Hippo and I like the animation

I really like how their vocal styles sort of parallel their personalities.
Mr. Hippo's verses are lengthy and eloquent, with a lot of internal rhyming and intricate details.
King Hippo's verses are generally less complex, but delivered with such brute force and vocal fry that you can really feel his power.
2 underrated characters fight in an underrated battle!! This was awesome! I loved the references!

This goes so hard! To be honest though, I'm not surprised, considering Luke made it. The animation was awesome, you replicated the FNaF and Punch Out styles perfectly! Very fun to listen to as well, the flow was great and the disses were cold. Both you and Cole kill it with the impressions. This battle is _way_ too underrated so far, it definitely deserves more attention. Great battle, Luke!

King may have won the battle but I can't help but feel like Mr won the rap. Or atleast he did good enough that you could argue that he did
Honestly it’s real treat to see these kinds of videos, and this one is no exception. Both VAs really did nail it down in this performance and the writing got pretty clever at times. The characterization was also done pretty great and never felt out of character, and in Mr. Hippo’s case got clever at times! Good work overall!
Honestly, I gotta say though that Mr. Hippo confidently takes the victory here. Both had a pretty even amount of trash talk and low blows like “You make heavy players wait” and “Reminds me of a time OH WAIT THAT’S NOW!” But I feel like Mr. Hippo barely edges it out with his disses feeling more like they hit close to home and a better flow, and just how PASSIVE he sounds too about it. Really great and close match though, and I look forward to seeing what’s next!

I love how goofy this battle is, it's got some good bass to it and the classic Punch-Out Wii style is just fantastic. Mr. Hippo's calm demeanor juxtaposes perfectly with King Hippo being a belligerent animal, and they're both equally silly. Another great underground rap battle.

alright, my opinions on this rap battle cause its probably one of my favorites I’ve seen:
Mr. Hippo’s entire rap verse is laid out like his voice lines from UCN which gives it some bias points from me, but unfortunately nearly all his disses are “fat, ugly, I’m the new king” which isn’t a lot for two whole verses.
King Hippo’s voice is amazing, and his disses are so much better considering how much more FNAF has to make fun of.
I can’t decide who I like more, but despite being a FNAF fan I’m leaning towards King Hippo
