Worksop HNRC - Aerial Flyover in 4K

A lovely sunny trip over the Harry Needle depot in Worksop showing some old shunters, class 25 rats and a few 92's on stands. In addition to all the stored SouthWestern Railway units, there's also a pink Eurostar!!
All footage is taken obeying all flight restrictions for the area, the category of the drone & in full compliance of the current CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) regulations for drone usage (Jan-23)

Impressive filming. Last time I viewed Worksop from Tesco car park was 14th October 2021 when I saw 1x08, 1x701 and 2x720.

Those 25s are a long way from going mainline by the looks of things which was the previous stated aim to put a pair back on the mainline for railtour use etc.

There's a road that goes up from Babbage way to the back of the depot. You might see stuff through the gate at the end

Is the pacer for preservation or something? I thought those 25s were being done up for mainline use. Also sad to see the 92s are still there after all this time

I'm guessing it will be preserved in time, before it rots anyway! The 25s are supposed to be for mainline use eventually. Thought the 92s looked very clean so hope they will be sorted and used again. Too much waste these days

@@miniature-airlines exactly, we’re too wasteful now a days. All these companies buying and ordering new locomotives when we have all these existing ones that can be done up to modern standards! Just like GBRf are doing with the 56s!
