I think many middle age folk long for the 90s and around that time. The world felt like a better and less conflicted place back then, even if it probably wasn’t. But nowadays we are fighting each other more than I can ever remember and that doesn’t feel good. The music of the 90s was good, I loved the whole Wicked Game album and many others around that time and the music from back then takes me to a better world in my eyes, for sure. And these fresh new takes on those songs provided by KO are just 👌

I have been a longtime admirer of Hershel Yatovitz, who was the lead guitarist in Chris Isaac’s band for many years. He played on the original recording of Wicked Game. I’m willing to bet if he heard Kfir’s stunning performance, he would be very impressed. Wonderful playing by a supremely talented musician.
I was like, I want to play this, tried it, was like, no too hard. I tried it again, and again, and quickly I understood it. I love this song.

This and Blue Hotel, early 90's when music required talent.
Believe me all throughout the 60s through to the mid 2,000s was talent but even before then the more modern and popular stuff started to gain traction and nowadays what's considered more popular is now minus effort droning nonsense and arrogant showboaters who think the world revolves around them.
But anyways that's just the stuff I don't like, I always look out for talented artists, I'm into the modern Black Metal scene and there's Thousands of Albums full of incredibly talented artists and there's so many iconic songs and albums being made even today.
