Here's a song from a recent fangame. I personally enjoyed it. Songs by: Austin Jorgensen Mixed by: Taco Salad Used in LISA: The Hopeful, a fangame by Taco Salad : taco-salad.itc...
In Beltboy's Route, his deepest desire was to have a friend, so when he turns into a joy mutant in the joyful ending, after his battle with Hart, I like to think that his mutant self asks the girl to be his friend.
I don't think there's enough humanity and brain function left for joy mutants to do that, they seem like cabbages to me that are only capable of violence. I mean even joy mutant Brad attacked Buddy while she was sleeping despite going on this huge quest to keep her safe, so what would stop Beltboy right?
1. the girl is the nearest living being 2. Brads greatest desire was to protect buddy, he wouldn't have to protect a dead body, beltboy just wants a friend 3. its a joke
I played Hopeful before I played Joyful, so knowing this sounded like a reverse of some song, but not knowing which one, made it menacing as fuck. Still one of the most memorable themes used here because of that imo
It may just be All American Badass, but it works. Not even the unused OST version does it justice. He killed your friends and now you're face to face in a personal vendetta battle of life or death.
So, i was wearing headphones while listening to this, and i noticed that some noices in the background sounds like heartbeats, surely just a coincidence but well...
@@gadget8637 Its kinda thrown up in the air as the joyless ending shows them as patched up with the worst of them. (Beltboy) not even he is sure if hes gonna die.
I really wish the song didn't transition after he turned into a joy mutant. This was way too perfect and if you have any experience with this line of games you're character is probably fucking stronk and will kill the boss in maybe a minute and a half. You might not even hear the first song's badass transition. Such a waste of great potential. Same problem with the other games too. Final boss fights are entirely too damn short (and easy) and the great music that goes with them is cut incredibly short kinda killing the theme they had worked out. I wonder if the final boss is harder in Pain Mode.
@@futanarilordkudo1879 yeah its annoying af when you hide and beltboy doesn't seem to dodge anything, happened a lot to me when i was fighting hardest rider
You know, it would be awesome that if we get a sequel for hopeful someday, the final boss theme from said sequel was a remake of broken heart, making a whole new song inspired by this mix.
The first part is the final boss theme against Rando, but all I can tell is that the second part is possibly backwards, not what it is... The closest idea I have is Big Lincoln's theme...
Honestly, I like this way more than regular All American Badass, it just feels more threatening and climatic then the original. Not to mention it sounds like it's an actual complete song, and not just one part like how AAB feels like it's little more then a baseline
Do you think Hart offered Beltboy A chance with the girl as A taunt, or did he fear Beltboy because he knew he's slaughtered his way through every Lovely? His confidence is still high even after you mow down the lovelies in front of him, but it's just A thought I had.
I think the offer was genuine, I think he respected Beltboy's determination despite his previous run-ins with the Lovelies. I mean he does say that he forgave Beltboy right before Beltboy made it clear he just wants to kill him. Of course, maybe he was lying and was planning on getting rid of him. But Hart seems pretty upfront about things so I don't think he was lying
@@canofpeanut Personally I don't find it lazy because I thought that this was a completely unique piece until I saw this comment, seems transformative and original to me.
That soundtrack just awesome. But anyway, why Heart going so crazy about got the girl? And if he a flashback dude, what she do with that Ginger Girl? I don't think it was somethfing good and nicely, if i see them right now. Stuffed with Joy.
Clovis I Merovingian I have no life. I have already chewed through pain mode in one sitting, and got both endings. The doc says I may die from my Lisa addiction. Skipped my session with my therapist to play Lisa today
In the joyless ending The Lovelies boss turns into a joy mutant and after killing him, Beltboy is wounded and the girl helps him. In the joyed ending Beltboy turns into a joy mutant in the middle of the Lovelies' boss fight and kills him, then goes after the girl and (probably) kills her as a joy mutant
In pain mode for the joyless ending, it is revealed that the girl helps Beltboy recover from his wounds. She then asks him for help, saying that there are 9 of them (girls) that managed to escaped, and they need to find each other.

Ah, didn't know it was a joke. Well in that case joy mutant Cyclops would have went around collecting eyeballs if Beltboy didn't kill him.
He is just like me in elementary school
AAA so, you become a mutant in school?
All American Badass reversed is still surprisingly intimidating...
Instead of Big Lincoln sending the body of Buddy to hell, Hart sends the souls of Clyde and Liam to heaven.

When's the fish game gonna come out, I'm excited for it
what are u gonna call it? Lisa the Fishful???
ClockworkCalvin LISA: The Carpful.
As one of the first to hop on the fangame bandwagon, I endorse this project fully.
Honestly the most evil villain I've seen from LISA
There was 0 justification or reasoning behind anything he did, he just did it
The intro makes my heart feel heavy.
Because I know my friends are dead but at the same time they're with me in spirit

This would be the theme that plays if big Lincoln had a second phase.
but like a fake out second stage like the hardest rider

That moment when the song gives into despair and turns into a joy mutant.
