The 1999 Moore, OK tornado , which was for fact an F-5 tornado, was reliably measured at 318 MPH and that stands as the benchmark as the fastest wind-speed recorded to now. Altho there were some reports that same tornado increased to F-6 speed, 326 MPH, it didn't hold that speed long enough to be officially recorded (5 minutes as required minimum). So far as wind-speeds go, the wind that blew the wind-gauge off it's mounting at the summit of Mt. Washington NH can't ever be 100% documented. The wind-speed measured at that time was 231 MPH except the wind-gauge was blown off it's mounting at that speed and was later found over a mile away. Attempts to re-create just how fast the wind was at that time have been unsuccessful.

Tornadoes are rated by damage and it's damage was just EF-3 damage. The xenia Ohio tornado was the first ever EF-6 or F-6 but was downgraded like the tornado

This dude dont know anything bout tornado's. First of all look at the damage path from the joplin MO F5 damage swath. Complete utter destruction. So yes it is very possible to have a building or a home to have complete destruction. Honestly if you just get your facts from the internet only half of that info is correct. You need to be ground zero right at the storm. I was there in joplin when tbis beast. Almost completely wiped joplin from the map. Do your fact checking again.
