It's possible that part of the movie might have been ad-libbed by the guy who played Erik. Kind of like that part of White Christmas where Danny Kay and Bing Crosby just for fun did the Sisters number and they decided to leave it in the movie.
Finally, this is the film that used this classic Queen song the way it should be used: as a grand anthem as the heroes give themselves one last chance to make a difference against impossible odds because love dared them to!
Pink absolutely does NOT get enough credit for her voice! Smh....I always loved her as an artist since I heard her song "Like a Pill" but this movie made me fall in LOVE with her voice for real! Omg...she needs to do more songs like she did in this movie that show the range of her vocals because honestly....I think she gives Mariah Carey a run for her money! I never knew how powerful her voice was! Ear-gasms!
Por fin! Llevo años buscando esta versión! Es todos los videos está donde hace dueto con erik. es re linda la voz de pink, me gusta más que la versión original de queen&david
The moment you realize *Penguins got a point* we need to show more love in the world dudes, we tear each other part, we kill, we split loved ones apart.....why we gotta be like that?
It saddens me that the first thought when I heard the beginning of this song in the movie theatre was "Ice Ice Baby" instead of the great song of "Under Pressure" with its equally great message.
when i was watching this my newborn daughter was kicking... and when this song played she stopped.... 5 days after watching this i went into labor... i remember telling my mom that when i push i want this song playing... so she recorded it... i remember at the end of the song my daughter screamed.... only to find out that it was her first and last breath......
No way is this better than Queen's version. It is really good, and Pink is one of the best singers in rock today. The arrangement is what makes it a really good version of Queen's version, but not better.
I think what makes it BETTER is the ensemble. It's more POWERFUL with all of those voices adding a richness to the vocal sound. With this being an ensemble song to begin with, the solo voice really stands out and those deep voices of the elephant seals just gives that much more OOMPH. After all, isn't that why Mumble went to get the elephant seals to begin with. :)
I thought the original music video was creepy that's the only reason I didn't like the original, and this is from a really great climactic scene in the movie. I also really like the version Jimmy Fallon did with Brendon Urie and the Roots in 2020.
People saying "Pink is amazing" when first and foremost this is a song written by Queen/Bowie, and secondly this is ENTIRELY about the production - thank the damn producer, and perhaps the musicians. Apart from that, just about any competent pop singer from across the world could competantly kareoke-out the vocals over the top.
I agree. I love them both but they are awesome in different ways. I still think pink is amazing no matter what. No comparison, and she wouldn't want to be compared. They're both so unique-that's why I love them so much.
Am I the only one upset that they didn't include Erik's duet with Gloria on the official soundtrack? That was the best part of the song!
IKR!! It's so sweet!
K

Heck yeah dawg
I hear you! I was upset as well!
I get goose bumps when Pink reaches the high notes, so pretty.
Yea her vocals just tore this song up!
Pink has, honestly, one of the most amazing voices I've ever heard.
My favourite part is when Erik is singing with his mom.
Yes. Definitely.😊
Same!
And they dared to not include that here D:
I love Pink's voice in this song. She sounds so good.
I've always known Pink's voice is awesome but this was the very first time her singing have given me the goosebumps. :)
Thank you Pink for not only keeping Brittany Murpey spirit alive in Gloria but at the same time making the character your own!!!!!!
A song that actually has meaning and hope, not just to relate to people but to give hope and help us change! We need more songs like these,

The moment you realize *Penguins got a point* we need to show more love in the world dudes, we tear each other part, we kill, we split loved ones apart.....why we gotta be like that?
I got legit misty eyed at this scene it was just so good. I didn't think anyone could cover a song sang by Freddie so well, but they did.
It saddens me that the first thought when I heard the beginning of this song in the movie theatre was "Ice Ice Baby" instead of the great song of "Under Pressure" with its equally great message.
Loved this movie! I teared up at the end with this song :)
"Sometimes you gotta move back a bit to move forward" I work in a cinema and I always jump in to watch this bit!

I honestly can’t stand the original version for some reason.
Equal let's say that
I thought the original music video was creepy that's the only reason I didn't like the original, and this is from a really great climactic scene in the movie. I also really like the version Jimmy Fallon did with Brendon Urie and the Roots in 2020.
@@CearaIvoryYou explained that perfectly. The original never made me drop tears, but Pink's version with the Elephant Seals did it really touch me.
