This was so epic. Definitely! I fancy the Classic RP.
Notwithstanding the RP accents, I admire them all.
These accents sound posh and nice, albeit difficult.
That is why the Classic RP and Modern RP are epic.
Both of you could impersonate the two RP accents.

Actually the received prounounciation is very different from the posh accent
RP is the basic accent, when someone is speaking in RP you should bot be able to recognize where they are from nor their social class, it's mostly associated with educated people rather than rich people
While when someone has a posh accent you can tell where they're from *they can speak northen posh for example* and it's much less clear and understandable in comparison with the RP
The queen speaks a posh RP while some of the royal family speak pure RP or pure Posh
A noticeable difference between the two is the R sound, when their is a vowel before the R like in the word *Mirror* in RP it's prounounced similar to the American R but in the Posh accent it's prounounced like the Spanish/arabic R
Also when speaking RP your mouth should be open and your words should sound very clear however in Posh accent your jaw should be lazy and a lot of the sounds are turned to a /ə/ even when it shouldn't be
I hope that cleared it a bit

To sound proper posh, you need to have a slight lisp, a nasal bark, or mumble.
And that's just the royal family...😘
      (Prince Charles.
      Camilla Barker Parker.
      And The Queen).

It should be the top to be competent in both areas but, maybe, it implies you're a native speaker or a person with dual citizenship. And English people always say that I sound quite posh, like a royal family member. And it makes feel so proud of my accent but.. I don't know why I've got this particular accent, when all I wanted was just to sound like a normal person in England haha. I mean not " too posh". So my question is, would English people find weird/odd if they hear a non native with this accent?

The Ultra RP seems a little bit contrived these days. Unfortunately, that was the English I learnt in Norway in the 1980s. I still remember being on a school trip to Newcastle, taking the boat from Bergen. In a restaurant, I wanted to ask for a glass of water. In my best English, I posed the question. To my dismay, the answer was: Yes, but there is no need to be so snotty about it (given in proper Geordie). I remember being absolutely flabbergasted, what had I done wrong? Today, it is not difficult to see why the answer was as it was.

Hi Luis thanks so much as always. Yes they do take the mickey out of the queen and the aristocracy in general. The classic RP accent is joked about a lot but modern rp is quite standard. How is life for you Luis?

The only reason royalty spoke with that accent, Youth was to cover up the thick underlying German accent. Yeah it becomes stylish so the public schools emulated it. I'd rather listen to a gentle rolling West country accent.
