Yeah she actually did an amazing job… Alan however. Sheesh!
@@VivaLaDirtLeague You can really see the difference between pro actors and amateurs in this sketch
The way her eyes slowly glazed over and randomly settled into a crossed position must have taken decades of experience as a method actor. I can only imagine the days she spent AFK in real life just to accomplish this role. It must have been a true test of sacrifice in the name of Art.
It sucks that Greg brought down the scene so much with his performance. He just isn't a good fit for his character, you know? No amount of money, editing and CGI is going to fix THAT.

Doesn't everyone do that the first time? Once you've been grinding the same mission a few times, skipping becomes part of the routine though. If you don't skip even though you've already done the mission like 123 times, that's where the real achievement is.

When Greg realized that Britt was AFK, I had a really good laugh! Rowan skipping Greg's dialogue before he even started it, was the cherry on top!
The references to NPC D&D were great, hope to see more crossover in the future, maybe even Djeoph?
I am forever going to imagine that characters always go cross-eyed when the player is AFK!

Perfect sequel idea!
Or some players coming in sequence and stopping there so he has to restart as the crew grows.
Or when the servers have thousands of players and they all come to Greg seconds apart.
imagine somebody actually doesn't skip, and he suddenly forgets his lines, because he said them so long ago. and he takes out the script from his pockets and confirms it...
That's a million-dollar idea.
I would listen to Greg's dialogues, he narrates things with such passion. I actually never skip things unless I heard them before several times. And even then, sometimes I don't skip. Just for you Greg. XD
Amazing skit, as always!
I love listening to voice actors that actually put in the work. I would totally listen to Greg ramble on and on while making and eating dinner.
Brit is so good at physical comedy. Such an adorable blank stare, then the eyes slowly crossing added all the punchline necessary to embellish this already funny gag. These guys are all so lucky they found each other, I hope they enjoy this as much as they appear to and I hope they make content for years to come.
Should I ever work on a game with character models that involved, I'd totally implement that behavior where an AFK character starts swaying more and more and goes more cross-eyed/blank stare until they either come back or time out.
